I think both rourke and zach will perform better than last years struggles. How much will be personal and how much will be coaching is gonna be a big deal for both teams futures.2 points

Brown was in his first year starting, ZC is a vet. ZC had the best running back in the league. Brown had Armstead who was ok and Laborn who was meh. Lawler/Demski/Wilson/Woli or Hardy/Rhymes/Acklin/Pimpleton? I'd go with the former. Winnipeg had the better defense. I'd argue Brown was better.2 points -

Vets other teams don’t much want, dyce has been around as a position coach. Hes been awful as a hc, which is a real disappointment. He’s a great guy. Not at all similar years. Brown didn’t have one awful game like Zach did for the first half of the season plus. Brown deserved to win his play off game too. Brown was exceptional far more times as well. ottawas offence is brown. It doesn’t even run through him, it’s entirely dependent on him dominating. If they traded places Zach wouldn’t have finished the year and his career would likely be over. With brown, we win a couple more games easy. Very good chance we win the gc with brown.2 points -

It's quite well documented that the bombers make the most money of every CFL team and have for at least a few years now ..... This isn't any kind of news.2 points -

Yes will be interesting. Buck will be a first year head coach. An interesting team to watch. CFL could be quite interesting this season and beyond.1 point

I guess Fleury will draw back in with Miller sick. Hope he’s motivated to play a cleaner game than has his last couple times out. It’ll be great to get Ehlers back.1 point -
Hey man. When I played soccer those orange slices were for half time. And damn it if we didn’t finish off about 50 of them oranges which were much better and less produced in labs than today’s oranges. Now if I want a good fruit I have to pay extra for organic eventho it’s worth it as the taste is so much better organically. We had nothing to wash our hands but our hair sweat. All dipped in and fingered every orange and grabbed one that 10 friends touched and ate it. Mom would send us to our new friends house to play cuz he had chicken pox. Good times. You triggered childhood memories. What’s next. Is someone gonna yell CAAAARRR and I’m gonna go move my hockey net. To keep this Blue Bombers related tho, organic Blueberries are much better also.1 point

Yeah, I saw that. Surprising but also a sign they are accepting mediocrity for now. I think highly of bobby dyce as a CFL football mind and leader. I haven't seen a glimmer in a long while of him translating any of that into being a good HC. And it's kind of late. I feel like he's best off as a positional/depth coach who can do a bunch behind the scenes. Good guy to help a younger Co or future co develop, QC for a co, help the scout team etc.1 point -

You'll be happy to hear Bob Dyce has been extended again! Richly rewarded for pushing his team past .500. for the first time evverrrr! https://www.cfl.ca/2025/04/03/redblacks-extend-head-coach-bob-dyce-through-2026/ Rick Campbell is lurking, pretending he cares about kickers and punt returns and trying to look innocuous, but it's difficult for an innocuous personality to pretend he's truly innocuous.1 point -

Utah is actually very good. Fast. Young. These teams play hard against the Jets cuz the Jets are currently the measuring stick. Utah is gonna be real good. I thought they dominated but when the Jets did get chances and they got them, the Jets killer goalie made the saves. Dudes been killing Jets since Arizona. Ehlers out is gonna hurt. Nino ain’t playing up to snuff. Utah isn’t bad. They are rolling right now and have same points as basically Vancouver and Calgary. They aren’t a bottom feeder. They have 20 more points than Nashville. Utah could finish in around 90 points. That’s not a bad team at all. They will miss playoffs cuz well Winnipeg Dallas Colorado Minnesota St. Louis is in their division also. And have 6 teams make it from the central division of death wouldn’t be fair.1 point -
Yes, they were far behind for most of the game (and ultimately lost by 20), but Brown torched the Argo defence for more than 400 yards in the Eastern Semifinal. He looked very legit to me.1 point

The explanation for Dru Brown's struggles in Ottawa was likely more than just inexperience. The whole team was thin on talent and depth. even in coaching.1 point -

People always think that, but modern movies have some outrageous content, just not main stream movies. The ability for low budget movie makers to find a crowd now is way easier with all the streaming services. The free and niche services from tubi to shudder have some pretty out there stuff1 point
