17to85 Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Bottom line is there were a hell of a lot of guys with standout games tonight and that is an amazing things IMO. What a statement to open the season. rebusrankin, wbbfan, K-Shack and 7 others 5 2 3

He’s soo crafty and explosive it’s great to watch. I thought mci had a bit bigger pop but either is a good pick. I like tony jones but he’s limited. He’s a run stopper and a teams guy. Too much of a liability in pass d. yep griffin had a gooder again. Vaughters could’ve been an honourable mention too. Having Lawson adams and him really freed up Willy and adams. That’s the difference between him playing every defensive snap and 3rd most dt snaps. Still useful if he’s limited. Very excited from what he showed. Some great passing concepts. Really gave Strev a playbook he could succeed with. Can’t wait to see him with zach next week. Would love to see isolated video of Schoen through the course of the game. Intrigued at.how he was used, as both a blocker and decoy. Noeller, wbbfan and HardCoreBlue 2 1

But I don’t think most people realize how scrappy he is. He blocks his butt off on every play he can. Pete Catan's Ghost, Noeller and Piggy 1 3
17to85 Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:27 AM who had a bad game on O? I saw Kolankowski whiff a couple times and lead to streveler taking a big pop at least once but otherwise it looked solid top to bottom. Think all the receivers had some catches, nobody RB looked solid, Streveler looked good... the play calling seemed real solid. Noeller 1
Mike Posted yesterday at 04:39 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:39 AM I thought the only people who had a less than good game were Kyrie, Parker and Gauthier. Piggy 1, rebusrankin and Noeller 3
BBlink Posted yesterday at 04:41 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:41 AM Full team effort tonight. All 3 sides of the ball. Vaval is lightning in a bottle. Wheatfall is turning into a star. On defense...well, did Holm get a pass thrown in his direction? Didn't notice him which is usually a good thing. We won without our starting QB and RB. Rourke completed some passes where we were in good position but just misplayed it a bit. Looked easily correctable. Would say the score flattered BC. Go Blue rebusrankin and Bigblue204 2

Vaughters was very meh vs the pass. Think we'll need a little more something off that edge with Jefferson playing his game. If Vaughters can't do more than Garbutt....have to put someone else in there or get some reps to someone else like Bailey to find a spark. Bonds got victimized twice and Parker once...that was like 2/3rds of Rourke's passing yards on those three plays. Noeller, Bigblue204 and Piggy 1 3

Truthfully didn’t watch Vaughters much and I missed one of the plays Bonds got burnt on. Saw Kyrie get lost in pass coverage a couple times. Gauthier got washed out at the LOS a handful of times. Didn’t think much of Parker at all at safety today. Kyrie to his credit had a couple moments where he shined as well. Piggy 1 1

sweep the leg Posted yesterday at 06:00 AM Report Posted yesterday at 06:00 AM (edited) I’ll give a shout out to our whipping boys, I thought JT and Sheehan had decent games. JT had reasonably consistent push and Sheehan had a 46 yard avg. Streveler had a better game than I thought he would. A couple of short lob throws to the sideline that could get a receiver killed, and a bit of luck he didn’t have another pick or two, but overall was pretty good. Vaval was very good in the return game, but also lucky. You don’t get that lucky often where you recover your own fumble twice. Can’t play a returner you don’t trust, so he needs to clean that up. HH to Vanterpool. Based on tonight is an upgrade on Dobson. Edited yesterday at 06:03 AM by sweep the leg

SpeedFlex27 Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago This game showed me why I'm glad Buck Pierce is the hell & gone as OC. Stev's best game of his pro career. He showed he can play qb. Changed up his fundamentals this off season. He showed that if you give him the entire playbook & not just make him a one dimensional raging ground warrior or gimmicky qb he can make the throws. For that we can thank LaPo & his protege Buck Pierce. Lapo had at least a bit of imagination with Streveler in 2018 & 19. He actually used him the best at the time considering back then his limitations as an actual qb plus his inability to read a CFL defense. Pierce OTOH was just sadistic expecting him to go out there & take the punishment that he did. I'm excited for Jarious Jackson as his position coach. 3rdand1.5 Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago JT had some push......He looked good enough in the first game, Lawson got some reps...my hope is as Lawson "gets back into game speed/shape" and without rushing it, the rep count tilts from more JT to more Lawson. Ayers is good, he just has "it" I don't think there is any way we cannot have him on the roster is some capacity...he was a demon on specials last night Vaval, needs to secure it better, but fearless runner, he could be a gooder The O-line looked really good, some of them busting downfield, some "grading" I was impressed Strev. was not perfect, but he can play QB and not just FB.... Wheetfal is no Lawler, but he looks like he can ball Peterson, surprised the heck outta me.....what a debut for him Parker had the one play he got beat, but I thought he was in good position most of teh night and if you watch him, he can move, he can close quick Is the long snapper we released picked up by anyone yet? maybe he gets a call back?? Overall both Hogan and Younger IMO had great 2025 debuts Crazy that we won and dominated the entire pace of the game start to finish and without our starting QB, our stating RB after the first series, our returner, and our long snapper Fatty Liver 1
