I read somewhere that the only position group in the NFL that earns less than RB is long snapper.

I read that somewhere as well ..... Although that somewhere may have been your post

Curious what people think about Brandon Barlow at DE. 26, with the Argos last year had 30 tackles and 9 sacks while rotating. Could he be a younger, cheaper option at DE over Jeffcoat?

Tbh you could take and one of their front 6. They scout develop and deploy soo damn well on the front. Not shabby with dbs either but I feel like they more so hit on dbs. They are a mill churning out good front 6 guys.

Kickers don't make much. Maybe it's an average of all. I would like to know the starters average salary by position?

I’ve never heard that but I wouldnt be surprised.
I lol’d pretty hard at that too. I wonder if no2 QBs, or back up QBs in general make more money than starting RBs.

according to that FBs make more money than RBs. Idk if it’s accurate or not.

That money could have gone to Brady!

Jake the Snake back in Blue and Gold for what feels like his 20th season.

I’ll be honest. Love Jake and everything he has done. He should be on the cheap and be backing up Lawson.

That's an uninspired re-signing (and I like Jake)

Based on our current roster make-up I guess we *need* a backup Canadian DT but he's a vet we should be moving on from.

We already have a backlog of hip surgeries in the province. How many old-timers are we bringing back? Can they play schmokey?

Btw, Hodge says Lawson is making around 135k.

I don’t mind him making that - this is his year to take the job.

Back up D lineman sure why not, anything over 100k well that monies could of been used elsewhere.

They have the money for Brady. They're just not going to pay him what he currently wants. If he comes down near the Bombers number, they'll re-sign him.

Seems like one of those signings just because he’s been here forever.

As long as it’s in a back up role I’m fine with it, he’s a good rotational piece. The problem was trotting him out as a starter all season long.
