Here is a tip for voters in the future. Outstanding, is literally a mashup of the words "standing out". Nobody stood out more amongst their peers than Brady this year. Jesus.

At least Hamilton had a reasonable, albeit skewed, reason for jobbing Harris. This is well beyond that. 

These awards should be voted on by other people. Too many idiots with votes.

Spectacularly wrong on 3 counts all at once.

Kelly had the best pass protection in the league by a long shot, a good to great running game, and the best field position in the league.

Good season for a young-ish QB, not outstanding at all.

 

Oliviera is a do everything back who had an all-time season on the best team in the league.  Got it done with both QB's, against every opponent in the league.

Going to look extra stupid after Kelly's playoff woes.

If he could have voted for Brady but didn’t he should watch out for Gmack kneecapping him before they return home. 

2000 yards from scrimmage is pretty ******* outstanding.  It doesn't happen that often and none of the qbs were all that. Just dumb to overlook that for the flavour of the week (Kelly and betts)

Stats don't even explain it.  Kelly's weren't exceptional next to QB performances over the years.

Betts sacks I guess, but he was a non-factor in 3 of 4 games vs the other contender in the division.  They also got whooped by Toronto and he was pretty quiet.

Are the league awards a celebration of outstanding play or dominating Edmonton and Ottawa?

Yeah, that was confusing... in one sentence he said that Betts had a fantastic season, and the next he talked about how he played a great first game against Winnipeg and then disappeared in the other 3... How can you compare Betts who disappeared for 3+ games to Brady who was outstanding in every single game.

The voting he's talking about is the team awards which put guys up for the league nominations.  It's the FRP which are reporters in the cities, doesn't include the radio guys I guess.

Believe you are wrong on that as players have won with all the votes...

For the CFLPA all-stars players arent able to vote for guys on the their own team.

Chad Kelly won MOP award. What a joke. Oh well hopefully just a little extra motivation from the guys to bring home the trophy that truly counts on Sunday. 

Brady got hosed in the MOP voting.
