Raise your hand if your greed and pettiness helped your former team's biggest rival end the league's longest drought a season later.

  • His trip to the bathroom lasted longer than his free agency.

  • I like having posters from other teams. I don't get why some of you get so butt hurt over it. Other teams have good players/seasons. It's ok to acknowledge it. DOesn't take anything away from our team

It will be interesting to see if Montreal actually uses its cap space or go way under the cap to save money.   Maybe they are tanking for Kurtis Rourke. :)

Let's say 500k for Harris, 300k for Lewis and the reported 220k for Weinke. That is over a million for three guys and their oline is brutal.

Would you really need to pay Harris 500k? That seems nuts.

I think he'd get 450K at least. Not saying he's worth that, but it's what the market would dictate based on the past couple of years.

Reddit saying 220k per. I will wait for a media confirmation though.

ouch....hahaha...tell me it is so

It’s crazy to me how two qbs who have been going down for two years or so are some how going back up in pay.

It's the going rate for a frontline CFL starter. Harris at 500 isn't a bargain, but it isn't outrageous.

Im a big fan of weinke but I wouldn’t want to pay more than like 150-160k

the reports so far have said Harris is getting "1-million  +" on a 2-year deal, so that's where the 500k number is coming from.

Free Agency doesn't open until Feb. 14, 2023 at noon, why are they allowed to make these announcements now?

That's why it says "agree to terms" and not "signed".

Wait.  They gave Weinke more than the bombers gave Demski?

JO'D is a moron and that team has to overpay to get anyone to go there...

Harris just wanted to go somewhere where his cheques would cash.

I just don't get it. Weineke is an american receiver who has never had 1000 yards in a season and had less than 600 yards receiving last season. This is nuts. At these prices Lawler should be targeting half a million a season.   The only thing i can really think of is that Harris could have commanded more but he left some money on the table with a guarentee they would also land Weineke and Lewis.

Yup, thanks Sask. Now Lawler can say "If Weineke is worth 220K......."

Oday is a fool...and probably feeling like he has to over pay now for his own pending guys...and do so also in the FA tamper window....cause that the only way to attract...or retain anyone.....he's gonna rape Peter to pay Paul and the roster make-up and total lack of depth is gonna be worse than last year...which I figured couldn't happen...and still....hasn't addressed the biggest issue there...piss poor o-line....he tossing around all these sheckles, and making crazy offers to try and save his hide...and cant see where they need to pay the money....it's almost comical

I hope Harris holds them under the barrel...he knows they need him....and knows this likely his last payday...so make em pay....

Weineke making more than top guys like Burnham...Beggleton....among other big playmakers, and as it sits right now...save for Lawler and Lewis is highest paid receiver in league??...this just writes itself on the stupidity and desperation...gotta love it
