2022 Off Season - Back 2 Back Champs Edition

So, looking ahead....what's our off season going to look like? Coaches and GM all still under contract, right? Players? Who's going to the NFL? Who do we think might bolt in FA? Pieces that we'd like to see the WBB pick up in FA?

Yeah, I prefer the 80s-90s aways, but the blue shoulder yokes have grown on me.

2 Grey Cups will do that!

Your Rams stole from us. And the Rams looked terrible as well.

But yes, back to the right colours! Never change!

Notice how we only win with the classic look? If Wade Miller does read these posts, please don't change the look, colour of the uniforms or the W on the helmet. Just leave it all alone. It's working out just fine.

Not sure if it has been posted already or if it belongs here, but Trevor Harris has been released by the Als.

Bobby Gorgeous won't be coaching the Als receivers next year: https://3downnation.com/2021/12/21/alouettes-receivers-coach-robert-gordon-wont-be-back-in-2022/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=alouettes-receivers-coach-robert-gordon-wont-be-back-in-2022

Bah! I’m only interested in the QBs and they’re only sharing one.

Geebus .. if you have to spell out his level of commitment is he REALLY the man you want to pin your hopes on?

I'm happy for us, we keep a quality individual and Edmonton, while they may be a bit tougher stop on the schedule, will continue to be a dumpster fire when it comes to accountability.

Yeah. His word is worth **** all. He left the Elks, Riders, and his dream HS coaching job at the drop of a hat.

The only way I see that being true is if he agreed to some sort of penalties in his contract if he leaves early.

Also the stamps to go to Toronto when he was a defensive coordinator.  Guy's word isn't worth ****.

Nope, he will say whatever it takes and do what he wants.

The core of this collection of selfish idiots in Sask who will never win anything was created by the poster boy for selfish.

If his character as a coach was a qb it'd have the mobility of late Matt Nichols the down field accuracy of Fajardo the arm strength of lefevour the clutch factor of Masoli the poise of dru brown and the head case of Casey printers.

I bet those dbs can ball.

Miller is a classic tweener pass rusher. Crazy explosive but injury concerns.

Zuber is a fast 6 foot 190 type. Little bit of experience returning but a wr not a kr guy.

Davis is in the mold of Sayles at dt. Far more athletic and rangy then most dts really long guy who can create pressure inside or out and attack the passing lane. He'd be a sneaky good pick up.

Bentley is an interesting guy. He was a 5 star prospect out of hs who skipped his senior year. Instead getting the ncaa early. But he battled injuries And consistency. Ended up playing parts of 6 seasons in college. A more than 4 year starter. Not usually the type of guy we target.

Zuber's stride reminds me of Lawler.

Not saying anything is comparable beyond that, but the stride looks similar to me.

Masoli almost drove the entire field for a Grey Cup winning TD against the best defense the league has seen in years and into heavy winds... I wouldn't lump the "Masoli clutch factor" with those other guys.

The bolded part is the most important part of your point. Almost does not = clutch.
