I loved when Marcus Sayles absolutely obliterated Spitty McEyeGouge at Commonwealth one year.  I didn’t actively wish injury on the guy but the horrific scream he let out was him getting his due.  The whole place went deathly quiet as he lay there with one arm pointed an totally unnatural angle…

He got laid out pretty good in the Western Final.

It took about 2.5 years to fix the Bombers O-line... it can be a long process.

I think having Andrew Harris at tailback allowed us to start an American (Bond) at guard, for quite a while. Other teams don't have that advantage.

Pretty debatable that it helped them win a championship too, as Alex Hall was pretty much a bust when he went there.,

Other fun things to note... One of my favourite players (Kenny Ploen) has as many Grey Cup victories (4) with the bombers as their entire franchise. He alao did it in 5 years.

Also... I did the math on this forum in an earlier post.... more people in history have gone to the moon than players that won multiple Grey Cups with the Riders.

Yeah...but they had #1990 which they clung to..rallied around..cherished...so there's that

This is the same franchise founded 2 years after the Model T was created (the first mass produced automobile), that didnt win their first Grey Cup until 3 years before the first man landed on the moon (1966 first Grey Cup) right?

In other dumping-on-the-Riders news, consider THEIR longest Grey Cup drought was almost double the length of ours (1910 - 1966, 56 years)
