Early talk- Champs @ Lions

Can't really decide if BC sucked or Sask got away with a freebie from the refs. I love our secondary against Lucky and Burnham, gotta keep Reilly under heavy pressure so he can't go through his reads properly.

Don't know what they gave Reilly on the sideline during their last game against the green guys, but he hobbled off after a run, and then in their next series came out like a 24 yr. old not 34....He was jumping around...looking fresh as all get out....and ran a couple of plays where he took off and picked up decent yardage....I think sometimes he puts on the 'dog' and gives the opposition a false sense of security ...then sneaks in some pretty impressive yardage on a run....Don't know if that's advisable against us as we handle the run game really well....BUT it's best to keep the pressure on this guy most of the time or he'll kill you with his arm...Looking forward to this contest AND I hope we don't come out with a little rust after our bye...

The only thing Ive seen have that kind of effect and quick is cortisone.

Could be, milt used to give guys the stanky leg then when they werent looking book it for the end zone.

Well, this is some great news!

yesssssss! Man if we got all 3 back, that'd be huuuuuge.

Defend the 50/50 balls and the Bombers win. Simple. They have no run game.

Chew the clock, put a couple scores in early and Rielly will put up 50/50 balls every second down.

Is it bad that I dont really want to see josh johnson draw back into the line up right now? I mean as a DI back up sure but as a starter? hard pass.

DB went from Grant looks "a ways off yet" to "is ready to come off the 6 game and play..." in pretty short order....

Wake up Bauming! Old Bobby Irving is eating your lunch!

the byes both come at good times for us...

Yes, we missed on the RBs free space but, otherwise, the schedule has lined up well for us. Halfway through the season, where we went 6 and 1, before our first bye.

what do folks make of BC's o-line this year? they're middle of the pack for sacks given up... about 2 per game on avg. no run game. Do they stand a chance against the Jeffs etc?

not easy to pass block, when everybody knows that a high oercentage of b.c. plays will be pass.
