in 2019 they got personally autographed copies of albums by the Reklaws.  Andrew Harris was lucky enough to end up with both copies, which represented 20% of their 2019 sales.

If not directly from the league, I'd bet there's a contract stipulation for players with their teams for those kind of awards.

Not sure why the outstanding Canadian gets half of what the MVP gets.  In 1984 the MVP and Richard Suderman award winners both received brand new Chrysler Cordobas, with rich Corinthian leather interiors.

MOS could have left the Argos plenty of times as a player and didn't.

I kind of miss when the awards gave cars. Though I remember one of the edm wins in the 80s the awards players got a 1 year free lease of an Olds cutlass. Which is almost as good as a years supply of belly button lint

Yeah...they weren't winning a vehicle per se, just the use of it for one year. Still a cool prize but not like you could sell it.

This is what I always dreamed of when we were in the middle of the long drought... to find a GM and HC that would turn this team around and stay for the long haul... you never know what the future holds but I could see the Miller/Walters/Osh combo here in Winnipeg for a very long time!

On a side note I work for the Manitoba a government with the covid 19 roll out. Just spoke with a Blue Bomber. Nick Dheilly. Admittedly I had no idea who he was. He didn’t tell me he signed with Saskatchewan LOL told him I hope he comes back for a three peat but small world.

Ah, memories are made of this. I almost bought that Cordoba that Ricardo Montalban was pitching for Chrysler in that commercial. It was a very nice car. Much more stylish than it's predecessor. However, I bought a Mercury Cougar XR7 just like this one. Same colour & wheels as the one pictured above.

I dithered for an entire weekend trying to decide keeping 2 salesmen wondering WTH I was doing. It was my first new car so it was a big decision. My first new job after graduating university. I was never in debt before so the decision for me at age 25 was rather scary. My dad kept telling me I was crazy to buy brand new & that I should look at saving my money & buy a used car but I wanted a new car. Little did I realize the house, wife & kids were still to come. It was a great car & I never regretted my decision.
