Chris Streveler - Has your opinion changed?

Mine hasn't and that's not a good thing.  Accuracy is just not there and at his age and based on how many years he's played the position.  I don't see that improving.  He still has a hard time reading defences and looking for his 2nd and 3rd options.

I want him to  succeed because if he can improve his passing game he could be a pretty good CFL QB.  But I just don't see accuracy as something that can be improved by coaching.

I think his accuracy is actually a strength.  His mechanics on the deep ball are poor but his mid-range stuff (10-20 yards) is the best we've seen from a Bomber QB since Glenn.  The deep ball is somet

What I do believe, is without Harris and the way our OC calls games, Nichols would have had to be scraped off the field yesterday. The rebound from the hit that Streveler took in the backfield was ver

I think he mostly gives the team a similar opportunity to win as Nichols.  He needs to learn from his mistakes and and think he will.  He was playing against two of the top pass rushes in the league a

What would really be fun..... would be voting for 3-4 posters from here, and then putting a camera on them while they do the PBP amongst themselves during a game.

Over a decade broadcasting in Mb alone ..where do I sign up?

He's getting better every week. The biggest play this game was the beauty pass to Augustine.

Just missed Wolitarsky earlier too. He's definitely getting better and the o-line played well.

Including a fake pump run. I mean, who does a fake pump run?

He only threw 21 passes today and nearly threw for 200 yards. That's actually pretty decent. 2 TDS no INTs. He's starting to take control and looking way more comfortable passing.

Surprised Fajardo only threw 24 passes. Thats time of possession for you

Has to hit those wide open deep shots.

Sure. But... We went on to score. 5 TDs today. 4 by the 0. That's a good showing. Perfect in redzone also.

Weird not seeing Medlock kick any FGs.

4 TD’s and no turnovers is pretty much a perfect game for an O in a competitive league.

The fact two of those TD’s took basically a quarter off the clock even better.

Streveler looks like a younger, unrefined Mike Rielly (which is a compliment).

We need to find him the big strong guy to throw jump balls to once he evades pressure. That would be deadly

Not sure what game ebb was watching....Augustine 75 yds on 16 carries and 2 receptions for 63 yds and one TD. I think that is as good a day as you can expect from Harris and I am a Harris fan. I think the bombers are going to have to be careful in the off season as I doubt they want to lose Streveler Augustine and a few others. They have great depth and a real upcomer in Streveler

Harris doesn't have many games at 4.3 YPC....add another 40 yards rushing.

Yeah that too. I was actually stating things as a positive. It's pretty clear that to win a game you only have to pass for 200 yards with no interceptions. Having Strevelers running game is just a bonus

Strev was better this week. I'll give him that. Hope the progress continues...

AKA: Wolitarski?

He looked good but still needs a bit more polish to his game.  It also helped that he had a tonne of time from the o-line who were outstanding.

Dunigan brought it up earlier about how he saw the guy a little to late and rushed the pass that hit the dirt... with time and patience he will be very good.

38 of 62 (61.3%) 436 yards passing, 3 td passes, 2 interceptions and 230 yards rushing on 36 carries (6.4 ypc) for 4 tds. So 145 yards passing a game and 77 yards rushing a game. Not too bad for a kid whose 24 and still raw. Its about 10 yards more a game than we got out of Nichols.

And really dominated 7 of 8 quarters vs Sask without Harris.

The intangibles....  doesn't crumble after getting hit....  can drive the field late in a game....  isn't playing scared....

That was from the Tim Tebow in college playbook. Play action off a QB run fake.
