3 stars plus hh arrblloowwwss

1 lucky. Big plays and steady ones

2 jeffcoat. Ton of pressure sack and down field play plus one called back.

3 Nichols had a real good half and came back from being banged up for a few drives.

HH. Speller and a few others with the next man up mentality. Guys in tough spots taking over for injured bombers and playing well.

Honorable mention to harris. He did what he always does.

Nichols is trolling us. He’s going to throw for under 4000 yards but throw for 50 touchdowns

  • Also a bonus award goes to the guy in the crowd with the Simonise jersey lol

Is he not signed to a standard 2 yr?

I thought the CFL reintroduced the NFL option for all players?

  1. Lucky - Set the tone with that great TD on the opening KO.
  2. Jeffcoat - Tons of pressure
  3. Harris - Doing the dirty work.

HH - Speller

Miller and Miles on special team coverage are beasts. Great tandem.

I disagree. Blown coverage on Walker’s first TD, dropped an INT, and mid-read the play and went for the pick instead of the man which led to the Edwards TD

That wasn't his man to cover he picked up for broken coverage.

DBS jobs aren't to catch Tough balls that's why they are DBS.

His 2 passes were beautiful... the rest of his throws and his ability to deal with the pocket when it collapsed..... not good.

The pressure issues remain though streveler showed them we well. And we did end up with just 1 starting ol from last year.

Aside from decisions while rushed he made better throws.  It was also a night every one shined pretty much. We kicked the snot outta the Argos in every way. Virtually all the starters and replacements could have had a star.

Hecht would of broken Edwards in two on his TD catch.

I was thinking the same thing in live time. Even as the play was developing I was bracing for impact from my seat in the stands  and then Jones moved out of the way to go for a pick as if he was expecting the ball to be overthrown.

I had some doubts about Hecht but a few games in and I really like the way he plays the safety position. The way he plays opposing receivers need to be thinking about where he is at all times before catching a ball over the middle.

Anybody privy to the extent of Hecht's injury?

Lucky keeps playing this way, he will be NFL bound next year.

Agreed

1. Lucky.

2. Special teams in particular Miller and Miles.

3. Defensive line.

HH: The o'line coach for having these kids ready to play. Yes there were some scary moments.

If Dondrae Wright cannot play better than Derek Jones did last night, he ought to be dispatched forthwith.

The whole bomber D took their foot off the gas and started going for big plays in the second half

Or replaced by Dondre Wright at the very least.

Just my observation, but I believe Hecht was protocalled..

He’s seen being escorted to the dressing room 3 minutes into the game after being looked at on the bench.

I saw that lol. Hoping he didnt buy it but Simonise had some contest during training camp on Twitter and was giving jerseys away.

It was his shoulder not head.

Could be both, as at the 12:30 mark, Fenner clearly hits head with Hecht..

Hecht did not look good right after the impact, and as his arm was in a sling that would be a strong indication that he will not be good to go next game.

Briggs was in a sling..I sit right over looking bench..Hecht stayed in full uniform and was doing stuff to stay loose all game..

The way Hecht’s arm was dangling when he came off I thought dislocated shoulder. But given how he was moving it around, I thought if they popped it back in, he is showing no ill effects. Given what others saw, concussion protocol makes sense. I suspect in a tight game, he and Hardrick go back in. But as much as it bothers some fans who hate common sense and foot off the gas, resting them and coasting was the proper move.
