CGY @ Ham - Time For The Stamps To Get Reality Checked And Have Lunch Money Stolen

Man, next to the Bomber game this is the one I really want to see.  Now that they aren't playing the dumpster fire in Regina, I'm going to call it now that the Stamps bad defense that was out there against Ottawa and BC is going to get exposed again this Saturday.  Yup, they have no secondary and Speedy B, Tucker, and Mike Jones are jumping up and down right now ready to burn those junky corners CGY has.

And Mr Arbuckle, I hope you're ready to get knocked around like an old rag doll right now cuz that's exactly what's going to happen out there.  You've done nothing and you're a fake QB.

Normally I wouldn't go pulling for Zontar's team but this is one game they must send a loud message that the Stamps must lose and lose bad.  Kick some ass ... Booyah!  Game to see right here.

  • What I like best about that chart is that 32 members of this forum have a better record picking games than these "experts".

Hey Hamilton, Thanks. Sincerely, Bomber nation.

  • TiCats get Stanbacked last weekend and yet somehow 5/6 of the cfl.ca writers picked them to beat the Stamps? I don't get it.

They just better be thankful BC tanked for them, otherwise they’d only have 1 win.

And be thankful it was awful Masoli they were playing and not Nichols.  Give Hamilton Nichols type QBing and theyd have gotten thrashed big time.

Oh yes, big old reality check hitting Calgary tonight

Sure wish I could see the Leon's commercial 20 or 30 more times.

I'd rather see that than the Trivago guy over and over and over

Good start to the season, up a game on Edmonton, 2 on Calgary, 3 on BC and Saskatchewan.

I'm surprised they're still airing that dude in commercials.  He got pinched for an advanced DUI in Texas last year -- getting arrested after he passed out behind the wheel in traffic.

Neither QB looked like premier pivots, but Masoli looked to have more maturity. Arbuckle still looked good, just not superhuman. The game could have gone either way but overall, the TiCats appeared to be more mature as a team. The Stamps are still adjusting to life without key players and no BLM but I think they will get it together in another game or two.

Apologies for sounding like a broken record, but again, nobody scares me watching these other teams play.

Agreed, but at least most of the games have been entertaining to watch.

Which is kind of surprising because in my opinion the overall talent level in the league is down this year...but yes that vast majority of the games have been enjoyable to watch this season.

In Texas they call that "Tuesday"

Its kinda refreshing to see Cal be human when hit by injuries and changes...

Its been along time since they have been human...

As good as we have been so far, we aint there until we beat these boys.

Unfortunately i think they might be the first team to beat us.

The plus side... we will be what... 8-0

No excuses for arbuckle to throw 40 passes. No running game what so ever. Hard on a rookie QB when the defence knows you’re throwing every down.

dickensen tantrum pending

I think there is a quota in Alberta that the coaches have to meet.  Between Maas and Dickenson, I've never seen such bigger babies coaching football.

What I saw from this game....

Masoli was hot garbage all night long... his receivers were making the catches but man o man did he struggle mightily.  For no good reason either he had several plays where he had time to throw... seemed like he couldn't see the field at all.  Was so off and that int in the end zone was absolutely atrocious.

The new PBP guy on the Montreal game has already immediately surpassed Rod Black in quality.  Aside from getting a bit excited and geeking out on Dunigan a few times,   the new guy seems to know where the first down marker is and appears to be able to focus on more then only 2 players on each team.

Ambles for Calgary is a liability,  I ragged on him on previous games and it seems like each game he causes one big screw up that hurts the Stamps.  I'm amazed he hasn't been cut yet.

Calgary isn't so hot against the run and the short-medium stuff.

Hamilton also whiffed on a lot of tackles and seem to have issues with covering the deep stuff.

As already mentioned Dickenson came off as such a big baby tonight.

So the question has to be asked: when does Rider fans QB obsession switch from Streveler to Arbuckle?

It actually switched to Vernon Adams and how they shouldn't have let him go.

Thanks. Winning is fun. Ain't it ?

Nikola Kalinic must be a fan favourite

Stamps receivers were total junk in that one.   Drops, fumbles and plays not made.   Cats won't win a beauty contest with that one, but the deal is finding ways to win, and collect the points.

Dickenson is such a whiny bish.

He's so unlikable

Too much booze money with all he’s saving on hotels.

Hamilton and us in many respects have many similarities that cause big wins.  Playmaker WRs, defenses that force turnovers, and special teams return beasts.  Multiple ways of beating you.

But where we do got the edge over Hamilton is ...

Nichols >> Masoli

A Harris > Sean Thomas-Erlington/Irons

Money Medlock > Lunker Lirim

Hence why we beat them in the Grey Cup
