For minor off-season Bomber news.  Any significant stories or news that are likely to generate significant discussion may have their own thread created.

Going to try going with the two threads again for the off season.    One for Bomber news, one for CFL news.   These threads should be used for general / minor day to day news, tweets, etc.  A catch all for tidbits that people want to share to keep everyone up to date on the goings and comings of the league.

Any news, tweets, and signings that is likely to generate significant discussion may have their own threads created.

c- is about right.  That's about where I have him right now.  Could change slightly given there are a few more free agents out there.  Receiver is a glaring concern.

Not really. Said they did their best to try and land a receiver, offered as much as everyone else, but players just chose other situations. Have cap flexibility now and if a big time WR shakes loose from the NFL before camp, then they'll be in a good position to try and land one. Also still trying on some other options...

-Ongoing talks with most pending Bomber F.A.'s

-Will keep eye on NFL cuts for CFL receivers returning, Zylstra, Mitchell etc..

-Likes Jones as Loffler replacement, better in coverage and said it may have occurred last year if not for Jones injury.

-Haven't decided yet whether to go with 2 or 3 DT's and may end up using a CDN. nose-tackle, Nevis future uncertain.

-Likes Demski for his fit in LaPo's playbook.

Interesting hearing from management about what many of posters have been mentioning about Loffler's struggles in coverage...and confirms to me that he didn't get put in a traditional safety role...also interesting that Jones was in position to supplant him...t

Did mention Simonise is as talent as any American receiver if he put in the work this winter could come in a compete for one of the slot spots.

yeah...if you didn't know who he was..and just watched him, and looked at the physical aspect...you would think he was an import...that is my impression when watching him

I think it's jumping up to catch a pass, only to have it bounce off his chest/go directly between his hands, and into the oppositions.

We probably need a new thread for the Zylstra-Williams-Mitchel-Matthews-Spencer Watch. 😅
