Going to try going with the two threads again for the off season.    One for Bomber news, one for CFL news.   These threads should be used for general / minor day to day news, tweets, etc.  A catch all for tidbits that people want to share to keep everyone up to date on the goings and comings of the league.

Sounds like he would not get a sniff from the NFL, but would do well here if he has the ability to adapt to the CFL game. A true dark horse.

Yes.  He only played his senior year with Oregon.

Here's to some of the OL getting their deals done.

Probably a good idea to get these deals out of the way now. I'm sure they're content with a modest raise and then Walters is free to focus on the bigger contracts once the CBA is finalized.

The big time free agents are waiting for the CBA. Might as well sign the guys who aren't going to get huge increases anyway right now.

Yup. They were both signed on May 10th and then cut on roster cut-down day June 9th.

Sad story for the guy.   As a bombers fan I don’t see this having a huge effect as this team is loaded at offensive line and will likely add to the depth in this year’s draft.

Looked to be a horrific injury. Can't blame him- in a few years that ankle will be arthritic as heck.
