Well that loss stung last night. Not happy with the decision to kick the FG but that can be discussed elsewhere  All in all there was a lot of improvement this year over last year and looking like they are trending upwards. If Walters can pull off another great draft and some more key FAs this offseason I like our chances going into 2017. Who is on the FA watch list and what areas are we in desperate need of fixing?

haven't seen the number yet, but apparently Eddie Steele got PAID....and a big chunk of it was up front, too...

I agree, but the NFL seems to have shifted it's attitude from it's not worth the trip to Canada to making sure no player slips thru the cracks, so a post-draft contract offer and a trip to a training camp would fit with what they've been doing lately.

Riders have done nothing but sign other team's cast offs. They have recruited no one with how many scouts?  And they want to hold a tryout in another CFL city. Jones is either oblivious or has industrial size balls that say F U to the test of the league. Either way, loose cannons shoot themselves in the foot eventually.

Jones seems to have **** for brains. Total disrespect for the Als & the rest of the CFL. Like you said, eventually he'll screw up so bad he'll be fired.

...and not surprising, in a fan group on fb that I frequent... rider fans are in disbelief that other fan bases are bothered by this lol.

Who did they think they'd find with an open tryout in a Canadian city?  Could there be national cfl-level players flying under the radar?  Seems unlikely.
