Well that loss stung last night. Not happy with the decision to kick the FG but that can be discussed elsewhere  All in all there was a lot of improvement this year over last year and looking like they are trending upwards. If Walters can pull off another great draft and some more key FAs this offseason I like our chances going into 2017. Who is on the FA watch list and what areas are we in desperate need of fixing?

Here I thought Jones the clown would have fixed things up and we would have nothing to cheer about. Silly  me!

If its based on Madani's tweet, that seems more like his opinion that Jones will call Huff...

Still a remarkable number of Jones defenders. If they can pretend being comfortable with trading away a team-heart and soul starting QB for picks they can certainly entertain Tate whom they previously derided as a selfish flake.

Jones has gone all in in blowing up franchise and his defenders are along for the ride.....right over the cliff if need be.

Never understood why coaches like Jones have to be stubbornly arrogant to the point of being anal by wanting to bring in "their guys" & are willing to blow up their team to do it. Rather than fielding a team with the best players possible regardless of whether they were with that team or not before the new coach got there. If the Riders don't trade for Franklin then they'll have rookies at the qb position to choose from & Jones will ultimately be fired. Durant would have given the Riders the best chance to win now while trying to groom a successor. Now the Riders have absolutely nothing.

Blowing up seldom works, possibly Chevy's rational with the Atlanta Franchise/Jets.

Jones and the Riders are a complete and utter disaster. This couldn't have happened to a better fanbase.

Funny, the rationale of Jones defenders was that he must have a plan if he was willing to let a QB of Durant's quality walk away. It would seem The Plan is to "wait and see" what happens. 

And this  is what they've put their faith in ?

So your QB situation is currently the same as the Riders.

Bombers brain trust made the team better. Teams can decline through bad luck, happenstance, financials out of their control or bad management decisions.

The Riders, without Durant, are now worse off, until further notice. And it was a decision made by Jones to do so.

There was no reason not to sign Durant. And Jones blaming him for just a 5 win season??

All I'm saying is its time to move on. The Riders have a vision. Their vision is to go young. Will there be growing pains, absolutely; however, you're crazy to think Jones doesn't have a plan. The Riders will be ok. Durant hasn't done anything in two years. A lot of us aren't willing to watch him sit on the bench anymore. I'd rather see young talent try and solidify a spot.

"Try and solidify a spot" therein lies the problem. This is a QB driven league. 

Riders have no QB, no RB, Poor NI Talent, a poor OL and a weak DL. Worst team in the West right now.

Riders trade Durrant rather than pay him. Winnipeg paid Willy and continued to play him for half the season. Who can say what is right or wrong?
