My guess, and it's purely a guess, is that some (not all) entertainers do this for fun, thinking they are being clever, trying to get a rise out of people and thinking to themselves 'look what I can do', not knowing and/or not caring that what they do can indeed impact lives and cohesion. Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad, sometimes for both. 
Some of them live in this special world with their own way of doing things, experts in all of the social world ills that ail us commoners. :-)

There's lots of factors to take into consideration, but this focus of friendship ties as key criteria for drafting players holds very little credence for me.
If our GM, or any other GM, uses friendship ties as key criteria for drafting players they then have much bigger issues to deal with imo.

Taking Buff off this team doesn't just leave an offensive void. Who steps up the physicality? That appears to already be a missing ingredient from last season to this.

Here's hoping we can beat the odds and win the back half of a two game set. A crushing win for that matter that extends the Wild to a 5 losses in a row at home. It's these little things if they happen that makes life much more pleasurable. Go Jets Go.

I just don't think it's fair.  Because a guy is dominant sometimes, he gets called out for not being dominant ALL the time?  It's just not that simple.  It's the NHL.  Nobody is dominant every night.  Even the best of the best have ups and downs.  The fact of the matter is that this team would be drastically worse without Buff.  He is my favorite player in the league and I'll be devastated if they get rid of him.  There is no one else like him.

I'll never cheer for our team to lose so we have a better chance at getting the first round pick. That's so Edmonton Oilers. Not much of a strategy, hasn't really worked for them to date.

Firstly, I was just answering his question, I wasn't trying to be facetious.  Maybe if you thought about where he was, i.e. KFC, a fast food place where you would find a lot of fat white people (fast food places and Walmart), you'd understand why I said 'fat white people'.  You don't exactly get treated like a prince working at places like that.  And the people that work there aren't exactly getting the customer support award no matter what race they are.
 
Goalie also left out the part that he was talking about people that grew up here.  In any case no matter who it is, maybe put yourself in their shoes and see where their coming from.  Hell, how does Goalie even know that the person that he was dealing with just didn't have a bad day.  What if someone that guy knows is in the hospital or something.  That goes for anyone of any race, not just muslims.  If it was a black, white or asian kid, he wouldn't have even made the comment.  But because muslims are the "item of the day", that's what we're all focused on.  I'm just saying, maybe put yourself in their shoes (and when I say their, I mean anyone's shoes, not just the muslims you're judging).

A semi pro league doesn't pay anybody half a million dollars to throw a football... CFL is legit.

I don't know but I think if we landed Maas,  a lot of us would be changing that word cautious with nervous.

I think Maurice and company have a lot more love for Thorburn then some on this cite.
 
Not the most athletic guy out there but I don't mind Thorburn, plays his role fairly well and chips in offensively now and then.
Needs to clean up the dumb penalties but can say that for a few others as well. 

Garry Galley mentioned in passing that the head refs can't review an offside challenge which then forced the linesman to review it for 9 and half hours. Insane.
Trouba fighting was pure 'i got your back' type approach. That's hockey.

And Holtby was the reason the score was close for the Caps.
