I thought of a fun way to make it through the rest of the season: Every time Dennis Beyak says "and Ehlers is slow to get up", you have a drink.

well, they are very lucky that I'm not the Premier, otherwise I would be like "Well if you guys aren't leaving I'm not scaling back restrictions"
Now that these butt-clowns think they've won, I'd be interested what they would do if Canada removed the vaccine mandate for truckers but it stayed on in the US. And as for their "taking away my livelihood" argument: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/truckers-wanted-no-vaccination-required-manitoba-trucking-association-1.6348728

Try it as Clint Eastwood. It's more fun.
Or Morgan Freeman.

Yes, in hindsight I regret bashing Paul Friesen for lamenting publicly back in the Mack era that Winnipeg had no Winnipeg-born players. In hindsight, and I find this extremely difficult to say, he may have been right about that....argh...ack...I just threw up in my mouth...
Don't worry, he'll be wrong many many more times in the very near future.

That final play of the game should be dubbed "The Immaculate Interception!"
Michael Gray says "hello".

O’Shea deserves a statue on ever corner in Winnipeg.
Cal Murphy has a statue and he only won one cup as Bombers head coach. Just saying...

If you get hit with a ball or a puck for that matter in the stands, it's your own fault for not paying attention.
If you think the kid was the only one heckling, then then you may buy a bridge from me.
If you think a player would get so annoyed about a mild heckle, then then you may buy a bridge from me.
If you think a mouthy 17 year old is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth, then then you may buy a bridge from me.
If you're still thinking about the Riders this week, then they are living rent free in you head.
Wow, you have a lot of bridges for sale.

Leafs fans across the country are entitled they feel like you should be honoured and on bended knee for a team that hasn't won a cup since 1967 and accumulated their Stanley Cups in 6 and 12 team leagues
I believe all of their cups were in the Original Six era (NHL went to 12 teams in '67-'68 season). If that's the case, you give them too much credit.

The amount of Leafs "fans" in attendance last night was just gross. I'm just glad the home team made things less gross and gave the visitors a whooping.
The best way to shut a Leafs fan up is to just let their team keep playing, because they'll eventually gag it away.

Well story time;
Went to Grand Forks today (yes we had the app) and it's gonna be a while before we do that again!
Had a couple packages to pick up in Pembina and we figured go a bit further have some lunch, shop, make a day of it.
You'd never know we were still in a pandemic, 95% of people unmasked, most masked elderly. People walking around without any care, dirty looks we got from people, lack of measures in place, zero distancing. I can't recall the last time I felt that uncomfortable and unsettled.
I remember on the news just before the border reopened they talked to someone from the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce. They were itching to welcome back Canadians (and their wallets) but mentioned that they didn't have any public health measures in place so they recommended masking up while there because of their infection rate. Their state tourism slogan should be "Welcome to North Dakota: We'll trade you your money for COVID".

They are missing the TPR for winnipeg, but the breakdown is there in the replies to the tweet.
Very well then. I'll admit that I just want to be slapped in the face with this info and not have to go looking for it. 😀

This is where I miss the detailed daily updates: What is the TPR in Winnipeg? What is the breakdown in these new cases by region? Etc.
