I like that DR. CFL is sharing his inside info.  I can choose wether to believe it or not.  If he/she doesn't share the inside info because the can't or wont share the source  we are worse off..

I know Westwood isnt popular among some for usually lame reasons.  I like him.  I find his position on most things to be insightful and usually bang on.  He's vastly improved as a speaker as well.  Because I usually listen to CJOB for Bombers coverage I mostly hear Westwood discuss hockey so Im looking forward to hearing him talk football more where he is certainly an expert.
 
Not sure if Walby would be any good.  He usually seems hammered when I've seen/heard him speak but im sure he will be insightful.
 
Is Doug Brown still on CJOB?  I always found him annoying.  He came across arrogant.  His speaking style was of someone that thought he was a lot smarter than he really was.

I work in training/fitness, with roots in higher-level athletics. 
 
I am not commenting on the issue of drugs in sports. If a sport is mandated to be drug free and you geared up anyway and got caught, that's on you. If you legitimately need the stuff, get a script and contact your union rep.
 
But none of that is the drugs' fault. Its the players. But the media blames the drugs. 
 
I don't really know Quinn's predicament. If you got dinged for Winny then accept your punishment like a man. Supplement companies used to taint their stuff with methyl test and even clenbuterol back in the day, but those days are done. I did hear a Gaspari product had traces of a legit anti-estrogen though. 
 
I hate that whole industry. See your doctor -- if you have low T, get a legit script and go on good, clean medication with doctors monitoring. 

To be completely fair though, a lot of us were throwing him under the bus before he was even officially hired.

Do good work for a season or two -- meaning no fiascos and an obvious commitment to trying to put coaches/players in a position to win -- and things will turn around.

I wasn't unhappy with O'Shea as our new head coach but I would have preferred Higgins due to Higgins' experience. I remember him as professional and always available as well as polite to the media even after a tough loss. Higgins ought to do well in Montreal.

Wally Buono as Bomber GM would be an instant, immediate upgrade over anything we've had since, well, I don't know. A healthy Dave Ritchie?
 
When you hire Wally, you also hire a very good pipeline to talent (Roy Shivers?).
 
And while he may cut guys a little TOO early, at least he doesn't get taken to the woodshed too often or get held over a barrel by prima-donnas.  
 
Ask the other GM's in the league if they respect Wally as a GM. Then ask what they think of Joe Mack.
