  1. With the way he was outplayed by Brohm last night I wouldn't be surprised if Hall got his walking papers.
  2. The Wynn trade was particularly bad. We had terrible NI receivers at the time and desperately could've used Andy Fantuz.
  3. He still may be injured, I can't imagine why a guy like Poblah wouldn't see any action in the pre season. Arceneaux is hurt yet they made no mention of that.
  4. A receiving core of Matthews/Moore/Denmark/Kohlert/Watson would be impressive.
  5. Knapp is not better than Jones... no reason to have Neufeld at RT if we are playing 2 imports Jan, Greaves, Morely, Goossen or Neufeld, Jones Sure there is. Neufeld is actually a good tackle, we don't have any other Canadians can play guard, especially if Morley starts at C.
  6. Right now, I would have Wild-Newman/Kuale-Unamba penciled in That would be the better lineup no doubt. But has Ian Wild even taken reps on the outside? I also don't see any scenario in which Korey Banks isn't a starter although I wouldn't be upset if I were proven wrong. Right now we have Wild playing out of position, a struggling Banks & Dunn along with a mediocre Kuale. It'll be interesting to see what our week one lineup is but those linebacker spots scare the hell out of me.
  7. I have zero problem with a guy taking money if he needs it while in college. The money the NCAA makes off of your name is robbery.
  8. I liked Neufeld out there. In fact, I'm thinking an O-line of Jones/Greaves/Goossen/Morley(?)/Neufeld wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if we can't afford to start two import O-linemen. I've always been a big January fan, but I like Jarvis Jones a lot.
  9. Korey Banks won't be cut, but Desia Dunn or Suber could be. Kenny Tate didn't look very good to me, neither did CJ Taver or Jaymar Johnson(although I did have fun saying his name). Pencer has continuously struggled, but his passport, draft position and being a position of need probably keep him employed another year at least.
  10. Ian Wild, Korey Banks & Desia Dunn just don't do it for me as our three linebackers. This team misses Henoc in a bad way.
  11. Has anyone heard anything about how Matthews, Muamba and Hall are doing in the States? I'm not sure if Alex Hall will come back, and I'd think Henoc is a good bet to make the Colts. But has there been any update as to how they've looked throughout OTA's?
  12. Hall will be the number two coming out of camp and Marve will be number 3. But, I'm willing to bet that if something happened to Willy and he was out for an extended period of time Marve would end up the starter and not Hall.
  13. They hire a head coach the GM didn't want, and then they fire their OC before the first preseason game. Does anyone like anything going on in Montreal right now?
  14. ... or maybe we start 2 Imp OL at tackles. (January & Jones) and DI Knapp. You keep pushing this idea but a DI on the O-line makes zero sense.
  15. What does that say about Pencer when Goossen wins a starting job before him?
  16. I've always hated Ricky Foley. Such a clueless idiot. Not to mention when he attempted to take shots at Milt a couple of years ago.
  17. Voting to strike and wanting/willing to strike is a little different though.
  18. It's hard for our team with such piss poor Canadians as it is to lose a player as talented as Henoc Muamba and improve.
  19. I have to be honest, this doesn't really surprise me. I'd love for them to take the approach that you can make all Canadian talent fit but I think if there were a player who was the definition of anti-Etcheverry, Ted Laurent would be close to it. I don't agree with the decision to not go after him, but I'm not really surprised. He should be adapting his scheme to fit his players. Ted Laurent is a special player, if you can't find room to fit a guy like him into your defense Etch should re-evaluate what we're doing. Etcheverry terrifies me.
  20. I feel bad for him. Considering our NI depth we can't afford to lose anyone who's going to play real time for us.
  21. Schultz & Climie were the ones who needed replacing. Even Milt isn't great on the panel(although I can't allow myself to call for him to be replaced).
  22. Yup, he sure does get people talking and reading his garbage. Not me though, I don't read the Winnipeg Sun at all.
  23. Just a way of keeping him healthy for the season and not overwork him I hope.
  24. I don't like any scenario in which Ian Wild is taken off of the field.
  25. Didn't Suber give him one of those injuries? I always liked watching Kackert play. Kind of reminded me of Josh Ranek. It's a shame he has to hang up the cleats.
