With Brett Carter getting cut I have to imagine that we're going to look at signing a guy like Etienne.

He's still with Philly isn't he? He should be back from ACL anytime now if he isn't already.

Some good players were cut. I wonder if we give Richardson a look? Although we do need an outside guy more. Still, I'm not sure that keeping Chad Johnson over him was a good move despite Richardson's recent injury problems. I'd definitely bring back Etienne as a backup receiver considering how desperately we need one. Hugh Charles being released surprises me as well although admittedly I haven't paid much attention to the other running backs the Esks have brought in.

Green, Carter, London, Richardson and Johnson. Who sits for Montreal? Or is Richardson still hurt?

I'm surprised that neither of how Howard and Jarvis Jones was cut. I agree with the decision to go cut Hall and go with Brohm and Marve. Hall just hasn't improved whatsoever IMO. There isn't anyone here that really surprises me but hopefully we can keep Reed & Jaymar around.

I'm not sure how or why Kelly became the poster boy for bad receivers. He's not a great player, and I wouldn't want him as an every week starter but as an injury replacement he's fine.

With all the Chris Garrett talk I wonder if we consider bringing him in due to our running back injuries. He hasn't been the same since his injury, but he didn't look bad when he was with the Riders last year. He'd probably be an improvement over Grigsby and Ford for whatever that's worth.

Honestly I'm not loving any of the teams in the West aside from Calgary and even they have a question mark at QB. Can Tate stay healthy and how will BLM do as an 18 game starter? Has BC improved ANYWHERE at all? How will Sask deal with losing a few of their top players? Can the Bombers & Esks close the gap despite having horrid NI's? Honestly this is serious guess work at this point, because in my mind Calgary, BC, Sask and Montreal are all worse teams than last year while Hamilton, Winnipeg & Edmonton should be improved with Toronto staying stagnant. Messam is a headcase and frankly worth more trouble than he's worth.

White went to camp with the Redskins last year and played in the majority if not all of their pre season games. Rust shouldn't be used as an excuse for a guy who has struggled everywhere he's went in professional football because he lacks the fundamentals to play his position and only has a job due to his athletic abilities.
