I'd love to see both here. THAT would tell me the Bombers are serious. It's not likely to happen for sure, but even competing against each other this is still the best option for them IMO.

I just hope that if they do hire O'Shea that he has the sense to hire his own staff - as Bluto pointed out he will need some serious offensive support - and KJ isn't the guy to give it to him (still love ya KJ). I would want to see a veteran offensive staff brought in. There's lots of them out there right now.

I'm pretty confident that getting a good piece or 2 on the o-line will do more to improve the Bombers than an 'impact' import receiver. Those pieces don't hit the market. Name one starting NI OL in the whole league who moved during free agency last off-season. In the last 3 off-seasons, Labatte, Picard, Rottier and O'Neill are the only guys who could be even loosely called starters that moved in free agency. Last NI safety to move in free agency, JR Larose, a guy coming back from a tib-fib fracture who almost had his leg amputated. Free agency is useless when you are building a team. Draft and develop. If by getting Collaros we mean that he signs a 2+ year deal with the Bombers then by all means our 2nd overall is well worth it.
