no I think it's three one near scotiabank, one near sobey's and the other one's at KP

4 currently (Nairn by Shapes, Regent by Fat Burger, KP food court & Reenders by Famous Daves) - the 5th was inside Home Depot but it's gone (google maps still shows it though).  The one on Concordia could be the 5th as it's less than 5 minutes away from the one on Reenders.

Such a bummer losing Sheed. If you're wanting a guy that works his ass off, someone who motivates and catches some tough passes then, Rasheed is your guy. This one really sucks.

Yeah and he did not want to leave.  On IG today, he acknowledged his time with the team was done but he still can't say goodbye, Winnipeg means too much to him, so it's see you later.  Love that guy. 😞

Right, I was thinking of Glenn January.  Stumbled across another memorable name from the 2014 roster, Dan Knapp, a pre-cursor to Trent Corney.

We didn't develop January either, he just spent the most time with us (much like Neufeld has).  January started 28 games between Sask & Toronto before we got him.

well is gonna have to as we have nobody else unless we draft one...which seems likely now

what happened with that local kid who was supposed to be in camp last yr...was academically ineligible to go to Nebraska or somewhere?...maybe he back in camp again this spring

I've been wondering what happened to him. Apparently is very talented, but haven't heard much since camp last year

Mekhi Tyrell - he played a few games for the Edmonton Wildcats team last year.  3 games, 5 receptions for 140 yards & 1 TD.  8 kick returns for 164 yards.  Not sure if he got hurt or what but he only played in 3 of the first 4 games and then nothing.   **Edit** The Elks had added him as a territorial exemption in August but he was removed from their list in November.

Not sure who you mean by this. If anything hanging onto the old guard for too long hinders player development.

Rose, Bailey, Gray, Jeffcoat are all out, making room for younger guys to play.

Clements played well, but Cole is the guy they like better. Developing to have a higher ceiling.

Can't think of a younger player they've had get away that was developing into anything.

    BOLO could be one.

    Weird narrative people push.

Only one person suggested there's possible an attitude issue - it's not people pushing a narrative.

But where does it say he has an attitude?

BC signed a contract that they didn't want to honour and got out of it. It's not on Rhymes.

Who suggested it's on Rhymes?  Pointing out he turned down a restructured deal isn't the same as putting the blame on him, especially when the team went and released 2 more starters after that.  That's 100% on the team for not managing their cap properly.

Nope, Rhymes asked for his release, it's not a coincidence he landed back it Ottawa where he spends the off-season, owns a house and has a fiance that works for the Feds.

You sure about that?  Sounds like they wanted him to take a cut, he said no so he was sent packing.

“We thank Dom for all of his contributions to our team both on and off the field. In the salary cap era, these are the hard decisions we have to make,” said head coach and co-GM Rick Campbell, who also coached Rhymes with the Ottawa Redblacks.

They will have their own division then So they need a few more teams still. I’m sure London is ready and Berlin but you need atleast 3 4 more to make it make sense. Spain yup. Could Mexico join this international division. Maybe.

Goodell himself openly talked about the idea of a 4 team European division.  He said he believed London could support 2 franchises so if you did that with Berlin and Madrid, there's your 4 teams.

Regarding the punter. I thought he boomed them quite often when they let him. I’m not sure he’s the guy out there kicking weird ****. They also fired the sp teams coordinator so….

have they named a new one yet or is OSH taking it on.

Got some scrub, not sure if knows anything about ST but I'm sure he'll learn.  I think his name is Mike Miller or something.

After his first season that would've been a rookie deal as well. Because he was on practice roster deal before that and typically teams will re-do the practice rosters contracts to add another year at the end of the season.

Likely the reason why Evan Holm and Jamal Parker both have another year left on rookie contracts. So even if it wasn't Ricky's first deal technically, I'm almost positive he was making very close to the minimum

He played 7 games as rookie in 2021 so it wasn't just a practice roster deal that they extended.  Neither Holm or Parker played a game in 2021 so there's the difference.

Jeeze are they that desperate for traffic?  Things must not be doing well if they have to be hyperbolic with a team having to fill one single spot ahead of free agency and training camp.

I assume Hodge is going to pen an article with a photo of Pinball pointing a gun to his head because the Argos lost more then 1 single player and now need to *gulp* recruit or sign new guys.

Looks that way.  Have you seen the amount of ads on that page lately?  They also decided to do another article on Boomer Esiason a couple days ago (their 2nd this month) on his comments from 2021.  I would say they are very desperate right now for both content and clicks.

Maybe he has CTE like Chris Benoit???

Very possible.  He tried sueing the WWE over head trauma about 10 years ago.

His wife was also apparently dealing with some serious health issues (dementia and Alzheimer's) so I've seen some speculation that may have played a role in what happened.
