Depth Chart - Week #13 - Esks @ Bombers
I hear what you're saying, don't get me wrong. However Johnson isn't in Younger's league in any way, shape, or form. I'd love for him to prove me wrong and have a great game tomorrow of course, I'm just not holding my breath though.

Depth Chart - Week #13 - Esks @ Bombers
If I recall correctly, we had Johnson at safety for a game last year, and it was nothing short of disaster.

Justin Goltz
Burke is cooked and he knows it. I like the guy as a defensive coordinator, and I appreciate his honesty in his answers to questions, but you just simply cannot hire somebody with no experience as a head coach, and expect them to simply "get it" and be able to be the head coach for a group of professionals.

Justin Goltz
Justin Goltz has been moved down to number three on the depth chart. Burke says Jason Boltus will be the next man up if something happens to Max Hall, which given our patch work o-line, is a very real possibility.

Sask-Toronto Game
Is Collaros really showing THAT much as a passer though? We've seen how teams can take away a guy who is a runner first and foremost with the other issues on the Bombers offense right now. The Argos are not nearly as good a team with Collaros in there for Ray regardless of whether or not the guy has picked up a few wins. (Goltz beat the riders as well FWIW) His best game was certainly his debut, but let's put this into perspective. +60% passing completion rate in every game no more than 1 interception in every game +200 yards passing in every game (+250 in 3 of them) Stats aside, he may have a wonky throwing motion but he's got good pocket awareness, he's got a strong arm and he's mobile. Seems accurate with his touch on the deep ball and with his intermediate game. I'm saying this with the built in understanding that ANY quarterback we bring in is going to need an offensive line to work with, but I think right now Collaros is my pick for next year. My issue with Collaros is that he seems to get happy feet under pressure, and as a result it hampers his throws in such situations. Personally, I'm hoping we swing something for Willy in Saskatchewan.

Pascucci Tweet: Bombers To Sign CFL Vet RB This Week
My thought was Boyd, until I saw Mallett on here. Boyd wouldn't make sense as he can't pass block with a damn, and our line is mediocre at best. Is Simpson's injury worse than feared if we are bringing in a veteran back?

Justin Goltz
Have to roll with Hall the rest of the way. I said back in August that all 3 QB's wouldn't be back next year. Buck is already gone, Goltz and Hall surely will be too, but for now, Hall is without a doubt a best option for moving the football.

Sask-Toronto Game
And most importantly, Sheets went down and it didn't look good at all. The toilets are flushing in Saskatchewan.

Justin Goltz
But, but, but, Goltz is the answer, he's such a great runner!! Now about that throwing the ball part and READING defenses...

Bombers moving to the West next year
In all honesty, I'm not getting to worked up about this as we'll likely be back in the east in 3 or 4 years.

Bombers moving to the West next year
Not happy about this to be honest. I understand the older generation grew up on the Western rivalries, but the current generation has enjoyed the ones in the east. We should be staying in the east IMO. Oh well. Thoughts?

Walters not optimistic about signing Henoc before free agency

My thought is, Hall started the 2nd Hamilton game because they wanted to see more, but he got hurt. Has Goltz done anything the past 2 weeks to say he is better than Hall, or deserves more of a look? I don't believe that he has. What potential does Hall have though? I think you can work with Goltz to possibly become a passer, because he can make all the throws, and he's a threat with the read option. Hall is going to have the entire defence sitting on the LOS daring him to make throws, his arm isn't great, and we won't be able to run the ball. I don't think Hall has much potential and he limits the offence. Ray doesn't have a great arm and can barely run either, what is your point? I'm not saying Hall will be Ray, but a QB's best weapon BY FAR is his brain, and Hall has shown to be miles ahead of Goltz when it comes to actually reading a defense.

Bombers acquire Mark Parenteau
So who do you sit then? Denmark? Edwards? Sims-Walker? Aaron Kelly? I vote none of the above. Instead lets start an import at Safety. Keep in mind the club will also have a decision to make when Chris Matthews is healthy again.
-
Bombers acquire Mark Parenteau
Assuming this is true, do you then keep Cauchy at safety, or throw an import there since you now have the flexibility to do so?

I don't believe that he has. He's more mobile. That's it. If anything, he (Goltz) needs to use his legs more. Which is why Goltz should only be a change of pace QB much how Hamilton uses their 2nd stringer. I don't mind if we have a Goltz package that we use a couple times a game, but Goltz throwing 20-30 times a game is not a winning recipe, more often than not.

So does Morley stay as a 6th lineman, cut, traded? Walters keeps plugging away!

Bombers acquire Mark Parenteau
And a pick for Anthony Woodson and a pick

I think that probably has moreso to do with teams like Sask, and Calgary and others not wanting to make a move in the middle of the season. If you make a trade then lose your starter the next week hypothetically, you're in a lot of trouble.

Kyle Walters
Pretty clear objective to me. Take steps to fix the OL now, get the pieces ready for a QB to come in during the offseason. That's the way to do it IMO. Continue to be very happy with Walters body of work, and what he has been saying in the media as well. Definitely look forward to what the guy can do going forward.

Kyle Walters
Regarding the QB's, Walters just said at the Buck presser that for the duration of the season, we will finish with what we have at QB, and explore our options when the season is over at the position. He also has said that the team will continue to explore other trading avenues up until the deadline.

Buck Pierce traded for Akeem Foster
This, whether anybody likes it or not, is the difference between a fan who knows what they are talking about about, and one who doesn't. Well said, well thought out. Great post.#mustbejoking Ironic considering you just hashtagged on a message board. You wouldn't know a clue, or class, for that matter, if either fell in your lap.
