There's a drastic difference between Collaros and Streveler's passing ability. Even with Collaros struggling. And the O in general. You'd have to watch the games with your head jammed up your butt to not admit that. Like take the emotion out...watch the football. Streveler can barely hit a pass over 10 yards. He's arm throwing. He doesn't set his feet often. He doesn't move off the first read, ever. And now he's stuck in the pocket because he can't out run a DL. Streveler is like Dustin Crum without being able to run. And it sucks, because he's a Bombers legend. But he's busted up, and he's not a pocket passer. Unlikely he'll become one in his 30s because he doesn't appear close to admitting the physical limitations he has...and honestly one of the biggest ones is his throwing motion and appearing to struggle to get anything from his lower half into his passes.

Then why did we pay him like a stud receiver? You keep missing that part of this equation. I don’t think anyone here is clamouring for the use of Dillon Mitchell because we’re all long term members of his fan club. I think most of us are confused as to why we paid 150k annually to a guy who is turning out to be the 9th (at best) receiver on our depth chart.

Few good performances but this game made me angry.

Demski had 7 touches for 97 yards. 5 of those touches got us first downs, 1/3 of all our first downs. 4 of those were gains of 10 or more yards. 15 yards per run, 13.4 per catch. Caught every pass thrown his way. Wasn’t stopped short on 2nd down on any of his touches. Maybe maybe not, but I don’t think it’s a pick if it’s to him. Hes not so easy to moss over the top.

Doug Brown has been more openly critical of the club the past month or so than he has before, I feel. Agree he does sound like a lot of us.

I'm hesitant to really sing DL praises until we play an OL that isn't a steaming diaper of a mess.... I think TOs OL might be the only one worse than ours right now...

Speaking of those two: their pregame opinions and tone, were not that different from this place. I'd say they had Tait squirming, just a bit.

Bit of backstory...I work with other trainers/coaches and recruiters prepping guys for combines...free agent tryouts and OTA's and also guys who can't or no longer eligible for NCAA to land in some JUCO programs...anyways was aware of Person...and knew he was a guy on a lot of NFL radars...so when we signed him I touched base with people in my orbit and asked how the hell this happened...I mentioned it before here but a few teams wanted him to be a pass rush specialist but to bulk up...and he didnt want to add the weight and just be situational...so explored his options...I believe we neg listed him and up he came...he really shouldn't be up here but our gain...hope he stays here but if he keeps playing like he is and getting better I can see him getting looks next yr

Doug Brown said on the pregame show that he believes there is an internal issue for why Mitchell isn't starting. When Ed Tait pushed back, Doug said: "I've seen this happen in locker rooms."

A win that feels like a loss... Did not give me any hope going forward. Need to pray VAJ is out and the Stamps continue to suck next week. It's our only hope.

If we get 3 return TD's every game we'll never lose again. Unfortunately we'll probably need the offense to do better than sawing off TD's with the opposing D.

The blocking on Vaval’s kickoff td was perfect. The overhead view they showed at the stadium let you see how perfect of a tunnel they made. The punt td was 90% Vaval. Isolating your 5’8 receiver against a 6’2 defender for a deep ball in the endzone was unbelievably stupid. Add in the game situation and it becomes a fireable offense. Good coaching by the Argos moving Coxie out against Bond and kicking to Cooley. Pretty questionable coaching when they tried back to back handoffs from the goal line.
