Yeah I ran into that problem on a Thursday a while back- My youngest was sick, so My wife and I took both our kids and made a day out of it. We had a Covid test day and then had a long weekend. Sorry about your inconvenience- it sucks, I know. But know that, I (and I am sure a lot of others) really appreciate you being responsible, considerate of other people and an all around good egg. So, my kid woke up with a sore throat and runny nose on Monday, and given then new guidelines that means our entire family has to self isolate until his test results come back. The timeline I was given is 2-4 days. I am sorry but that is insane. Either a) both my kids miss a week of school and our work lives are disrupted because one of them has a cold, or b) 4 days from now we have to trace our steps to notify recent contacts they might have been exposed to covid over a week ago. Neither of these is acceptable. Until test results are available same day, you are going to have parents and caregivers ignoring the rules because it is just not sustainable. Upside is I get to watch my largely healthy kids fight over the Playstation while I try to listen to a Teams call.

Trump is more American than not, a distillation of all that is ugly about America. Deutsche Bank may have to close or at least dramatically restructure because they are not going to get a lot of their money back from Trump, as he overvalued his properties for lien purposes, and that is fraud. It seems like he bribed or dramatically misled one or two senior executives in the commercial loans section. Deutsche Bank is deeply embarrassed to be exposed over their degree of complicity/stupidity/gullibility and the only way they will be able to salvage anything (credibility or funds) is to move on Trump as quickly as possible ahead of other creditors, including Russian and Chinese. Trump apparently signed personal guarantees for many of his loans, so he stand to lose most, if not all of his personal assets that he has not hidden or transferred to his sons. Gonna be interesting.

It will have to be done through the courts. It's clear that Biden will win PA in votes and he will carry WI and MN. Trump's only path back to the White House is through the Supreme Court, tossing aside hundreds of thousands of votes. But, I think that there are too many states in play. I think the sheer overwhelming number of Electoral College votes that Biden will earn tonight will make it very clear that Trump intends to steal the election. That's why I predict a lot of violence. People will be out protesting the voter suppression and Trump's militia armies will be terrorizing them with the help of the police.

I agree. It's an impossible situation. I'm thankful my work situation allows me to be flexible but this is not the case for most. And, for those that need to work to get paid and need to be paid to keep up with the bills, this is a disaster. But, let's blame alcohol and drugs for the government's inability to address the problems and react in a crisis.
