SSK, coherently, declined. Ed Hervey vs. Chris Jones is going to be a real thing to keep your eye on over the coming weeks and months. To reach for two first round picks, including No. 1 overall, in return for a back-up QB with a handful of pro starts is... hilarious, really

Wasn't drafted and has spent time on both offense and defence. His most recent stint in nfl was at wide out. Bottom line is he isn't a starter at either, he is just a returner.

I'd probably argue they have some decent receivers right now... Holly and Collins could be good in the future... Roosevelt and Bagg (when healthy) are pretty solid now... they also have no QB depth... after Durant their QBs probably aren't roster players on most other teams...

None of them and you know it or you know nothing about football. Stoudemire was a failed receiver experiment with the Riders and Bombers before, simply because he can't catch, and is not a elite return guy IMHO. Would you sit Fogg on returns so he could play? No Fogg is on the Bombers, he doesn't have to sit. This is about the Riders picking up Stoudermire, try to keep up. And yes I would sit Kendial Lawrence to have Troy Stoudermire on returns. No question. He'd also be an improvement in your secondary. Actually looked capable when he got a shot there in Winnipeg. When is the last time a Rider DB achieved the lofty heights of appearing capable?
September 13, 20169 yr Cato was escorted out of practice today. Got heated between himself Stafford and Carter....again! lol

September 13, 20169 yr Popp has to go. What a terrible coach. And some fans want Carter here? Ugh, no thanks.

Seriously? Just about every other day there seems to be a story of him having issues with someone on the team. The bumping thing in Ottawa showed the level of intelligence and maturity this guy has. It's clear that this guy would be nothing but a huge distraction and I'm pretty confident that O'Shea would make it clear that he does not want this guy anywhere near the Bombers locker room.
September 13, 20169 yr Randle for Carter would be trading one of the best leaders in our locker room for one of the dumbest athletes in North America. No thank you.
September 13, 20169 yr As much as I like Carter's talent, he seems not worth it. Roosevelt is a free agent this off-season, he'd be a great target. Hope he has tired of the Chris Jones Circus.
September 13, 20169 yr Author We're all aware, by now, about The Trinity's policy re: player personalities. MOS, especially, looks for players who are even better human beings than they are players. Duron Carter does NOT fit his mould, clearly...

It'll be interesting to see where Duron ends up... don't think he'd want to live anywhere like the Canadian prairies. Maybe Wally's place. Edited September 13, 20169 yr by Mark F
September 13, 20169 yr Calling Carter a locker room cancer is an insult to all other players considered a locker room cancer

I thought the Riders were excellent on special teams Coverage and punting was excellent on the Banjo Bowl for the riders. Thought he out kicked medlock. Obviously their kicker had a bad game at the LDC, but he seemed to have been a bright spot up to that point. Also how quickly do we forget the return that killed us last game.

Duron Carters Wonderlic score was 39. The average score for a professional WR is 17. Sure he's had his issues in Montreal, but he's the big, physical receiver. It's not like a talented head case hasn't rejuvenated his career before (randy moss)
