Umpire #31 Ben Major

Head Linesman #67 Justin McInnes

Line Judge #74 Tim Kroeker

Side Judge #21 Don Carmichael

Back Judge #42 Carey Anderson

Field Judge #51 Bryan Taylor

Backup Referee #48 Kim Murphy

Backup Official #34 Ritchie Miller

Backup Official #57 Marty Carreau

Never much been a fan of Proulx.  Always seemed to be bad calls against the Bombers when we played Montreal.  However this is his 5th Grey Cup game and 3rd as head referee.  Must be doing something right.

Other then Kim Murphy, don't recognize much of the other names.   Which is probably a good thing when you are a referee.

Frenchie Proulx gets a bad rap because people like to at his accent when calling penalties and such, but I've never had a problem with him calling games. So much better than Kim Murphy and people like that...or, God help us, Jake "The Snake" Ireland....

No, it isn't his accent, it is his bias for Montreal.   No issues with him in games where Montreal isn't playing.

Third Grey Cup as the Official... 2004 and 2011 were the previous two.

Some stats from Proulx crew games this year:

333 penalties in 17 games for an average of 20. (Rest of the games was 1501 penalties for 22 per game)

81 calls for Offside/Procedure

93 calls for Blocking Fouls

54 calls for Roughness

32 No Yards

33 PI/Illegal Contact

Some other misc such as illegal punt, kick, time count, etc. for the rest

Nice to see Ben Major get the call. He deserves it for coming back from that kick to the head.

Offensive lines will be getting away with murder. Proulx is oblivious when it comes to holding calls.

That seems to be a chronic problem with all crews...some games I almost wonder if it isn't by design to protect the QBs.

Designed to create offense and make the game exciting

Having officiated a number of sports I often found people would suggest that I was more biased against the "home team". Perhaps unconsciously not wanting to be accused of being a "homer". I find Bradbury to be one of the top referees and was hoping he would get the Cup. I guess he has to still pay his dues in the seniority game.
