I agree with whomever said Jones had a good night. I thought he was very noticeable. I also like both of our corners. Aside from a tough first half against Hamilton I think Moxey’s been pretty good for us.

Third quarter wasn’t great, but otherwise I liked our pass rush. Willie looks ten years younger and Reese is looking like a nice find.

I liked the jet option we added to the run game in the first half, but the 2nd half seemed like more of our predictable up the gut for three yards. On one play we sniffed out the blitz with a fake waggle then ran into it anyways. Made no sense. Maybe we couldn’t change plays with a newbie qb but it bugged me.

Dru Brown showed some emotion out there when he threw that TD pass to Tim White. He yelled & pumped his fist so that was great to see as that was a major criticiam that I had of his play with the RedBlacks. Little or no emotion. I think what that lack of emotion was perhaps his heart wasn't in it when he played in Ottawa. He basically took the money & ran. I think he missed playing here & found out early on in Ottawa that being happy isn't all about how much you get paid. Dinwiddie did Brown's career a huge favour.

D Line is really coming together, DB's need work and our LB's could be better. As a whole it seems to be working.

Smith appeared to be getting a fair number of reps and looked good.

I still think we need to insert another American receiver as the season goes on but the way we use our ratio wont allow it atm.

If they went to 5 on offense (2OL+2WR+RB) and 3 on D (DT+S+LB), they could.

They can easily add one. Take out one of the many American LBs. They started an extra American OL last week with no issues.

Both of you are right but the Bombers choose not to change the ratio to insert an American receiver and I think we need better at that position opposite Pokey

Okay, to say what most, if not all here are thinking, Dru looked better with his lack of experience with this O-line and receiving corps, than Collaros has looked for the past couple of years. He is the QB of the day and will serve well until Elgersma is ready, and trotting out Collaros again serves only to delay the development and integration of Brown and Elgersma. Collaros has been a fixture here for some time and parting with him is going to be painful, but the future waits for no one. Collaros still has value, so Walters has to put him on the block.

I thought Korn and Kelly would have goat horns.....but actually two games in a row they looked fine, certainly didn't terrible and both actually made a few plays...heck I would say Kelly has even actually looked good the last two weeks......

Woke up this morning still pissed at Stewart Johnston, and then a little sad. What an absolute shame this is happening to our league.

Agreed. Only guys that were noticeable in a bad way...were unfortunately....the two long time studs in Bryant and Nichols. Though Bryant probably played his best game as well, but was beat pretty badly a few times.

Other thoughts in no particular order:

Solid, but unspectacular night for Brady. Only a long of 11 on the ground but still a very respectable YPC on the ground. I really would like to see him more involved in the screen game.

Love Dru Brown. Never should have left, though I fully understand why he did. He deserved the opportunity but the Ottawa organization is an absolute disaster from top to bottom.

Love seeing Pokey and Vaval redeem themselves after significant blunders.

Very solid game from Tony Jones. I know he's a bit of a whipping boy around here (he's not spectacular but I also dont think he's nearly as bad as people make him out to be). I think we would be much better off returning him to the middle linebacker spot given how he's performed there in the past especially with the lack of productivity we're currently getting there from Wilson.

Ceresna is a little too invisible for me at this point, sorry to say.

Not sure I'd be celebrating my ejection down 15 points like Coxie did, but that's just me.

All around maybe their best game of the year with all 3 phases playing well. Clean up the mistakes and put up 7 instead of 3 and this team will be very hard to beat.

Dru played very well. But....the Argos are exceptionally bad on defense especially their secondary. And the lack of TDs almost bit the Bombers in the ass. This game really should have been over at half time.

I get people wanting to start dru over Collaros and im probably in that party as well, but i dont see that happening if Zach is healthy. Its not like Collaros has been really bad this year.

Now that's more like it ...not completely there yet ...but promising...Luv'd the instant redemption for Vaval...The camera shot of him on the bench, after the fumble, looking absolutely destroyed, was hard to watch BUT the missed field goal attempt by TO and the return for a td by Vaval made my night....This guy is on his way to eclipse Grant and his time with us....What a night for Dru....pin point passing all night...something we used to get from Zack but appears to have left his game...Average night for Bo O....finally a td from White and Demski/Pokey doing their thing, was too much for the argos....Castillo was on his game and that was a good thing....we needed all of those pts.....Have to mention Jones....he was a beast out there in the middle....More play like that and we could be emerging as a real threat.....now if the dbs improve their game....skies the limit
