All around maybe their best game of the year with all 3 phases playing well. Clean up the mistakes and put up 7 instead of 3 and this team will be very hard to beat.

Dru played very well. But....the Argos are exceptionally bad on defense especially their secondary. And the lack of TDs almost bit the Bombers in the ass. This game really should have been over at half time.

I get people wanting to start dru over Collaros and im probably in that party as well, but i dont see that happening if Zach is healthy. Its not like Collaros has been really bad this year.

Yup but I tell you watching Dru Brown take snaps and quickly get it out of his hands was nice to watch and i’m thinking that’s quite hard to defend. Wilson was the major benefactor of that last night. Nice wrinkle that we now have.

It’s also nice to see Sergio back into his groove.

Looks like about 80 tickets left. Of course it will be announced as a sell-out.

They could give any remaining tickets away to first responders.

Or peeps actually poor.

3DownNation saying it’s over. I say Bombers fans outnumbered Argos fans at a Toronto home game.

Yep. :) For decades, only American assisitant coaches could find work in the CFL. No way, a Canadian would ever be considered for a head coaching position . Canadians as per usual were considered underlings.

Slowly over the years more & more Canadians started to make inroads onto CFL coaching rosters. Guys that worked hard just to get where they were. Now for the sake of diversity, qualified Canadian male coaches face another barrier. I have no problem if a woman has the qualifications to coach or ref at the CFL level but most don't. They get the job anyway for diversity sake & it's wrong.

If the CFL really cared, they'd get rid of the coaching admin cap to allow the hiring of BOTH promising young men & women coaches that teams could develop. That makes more sense than mandagting some kind of diversity program. Just my take.

Super hard to defend what brown did last night. Extremely fast read n release, one of the fastest one step guys you will see, but also he did a great job of putting the ball in places where the D wasn’t even when the pressure came and d was covering the source of pressure well. Also hit incredibly tight windows, and doesn’t miss low/behind or lead guys into hospital territory.

We’ve all known he has tremendous upside, but he also has the ability the manage the game.

Zach-Brown is the best 1-2 qb punch we’ve had in a generation, zach-brown-elgersma is an embarrassment of wealth at qb. Maybe the best since those legendary edmonton days? not nearly as good as those hofers, who knows how good brown n elgersma could be but that’s a long ways off.

Brown and elgersma could be the next version of zach and harris or atleast maas and ray.

Hope to heck they let Brown start next week in Ottawa. Let him personally make Dinwiddie eat his words I could really see a game like that brining the team together in the locker room.

Let Brown keep starting until/if the wheels fall off. He deserves another start. Also keeps Collaros healthy until we really need him.

Ray/Harris/Collaros was the last 1/2/3 like that I’m pretty sure.

Garcia/Dave ****/Burris before that?

Not that I’m fully putting our guys at that level quite yet, but I mean in context of this era and given the rest of the league’s QB rooms it’s somewhat comparable.

good points.

Yeah they aren’t there, but they have that potential. Next year’s camp and tc battle with te and brown should be exceptional

Yeah considering he hadn't taken a real game snap since Oct 3rd of 2025...had none in TC this yr and 1 practice with us, pretty encouraging what he did....now imagine how he should look when he in full mode.

You could see his pre-snap reads were bang on and knew where he needed to put the ball, and got it there as fast as we have seen in yrs with a Winnipeg offence.

He also navigates the pocket real well, and I forgot how quick his footwork is when he see's/senses the pressure and relocates himself to a safer spot and still gets himself set up in a real good throwing base/platform and delivers the ball with a tight spiral....ZC cant do that anymore and when he does ot looks all nectic and he is more times than not throwing a pass in a less than Ideal setup...Hence his increase in picks the past 3 yrs

Dru's pick yesterday...I bet 2 or 3 games into his tenure here he makes the TD pass there when he knows his receiver's better and likely would have dropped that backside shoulder where only the receiver has a chance for it. But all things considered that is the sharpest and most fluid tempo offence we have run in long time, and was a perfect scheme for his first game with literally zero reps other than glorified skely ince this week

We don't need to rush ZC back, and Dru should get the start next week, to really iron out the rust, plus he has seen the Ott defence all yr up until his release and even tho he is as chill as chill can be...You gotta know he will be chomping at the bit to lay a whoopin on Dinwiddie and crew to show they effed up

Amazing part of that last night we didnt even use the run game to open things up for him...he was just hitting his spots as they had it drawn up

Once ZC is healthy and back, tough choice for Osh...I know everyone and their dog wants to hype TE but Perkins has earned that SY job...and is pretty much automatic, and as we saw last night when the oline is having an off day and not blowing up the line...he can power his way to the 1st down even when hit right at, the line....and you know he is gonna bust a huge run here sooner than later...

Dropping Perkins soley for they hype is the wrong move. TE will develop just as much as the reserve guy watching and learning as he would standing on the sideline, running a sneak here and there

Collaros' fate should be at least as much in Walters' hands. Next year Collaros will be worth almost nada and we could use a good wide receiver and MLB right now. Dru has been everything we hoped for, and more, so Collaros is redundant at best, and Perkins has more to offer that he hasn't been allowed to show.

Milt said in the pre-game show that this was Zach's last year, which went unacknowledged. That is what I have suspected since the Brown trade as well. I think this is it for him.

Then, because his wife is employed in Ontario, let him dwindle away in Ontario.

Tbh, I'd send him wherever the value is. Ham/Ott are likely, but who knows maybe MTL would pay more to block them.

It’s a discussion forum so it’s reasonable to talk about, but I hope nobody actually believes Collaros will be benched or traded. Barring a long term injury this is Collaros’ team. I’m not sure there’s a more loyal coach in pro sports than O’Shea.

Also, after everything he's given to this team, I have a hard time believing they'll just toss him aside like trash.

Hamilton put all their nuts in one dish & look what happened. They at least had Kevin Powell ready to go but they let him go to Edmonton in free agency. A possible serious GC run ifor the Ti Cats now for all intents & purposes is over. Only a few teams have what we have at QB1 & QB2, But for us, we have 4 qbs who contribute. As wbbfan said, the best qb room since the 80;s with the Bombers when they had Clements, Hufnagel & Tom Muecke. It felt good then 40 years ago as a fan & DAMN it still feels good today. Dru Brown just fell into our lap. Holy effin ****. Three weeks ago whooda thunk it???

Watching the world cup England versus Norway i like how the ref quickly explains his reasoning for overturning his original call of penalty kick for England. The CFL CC needs to do a similar thing and provide fans with a quick rationalization of their decisions, e.g, when they inserted themselves in the game last night by calling RTP on the BB when originally there was no call by the field refs.

And it wasn't RTP. There's that too.

One of the dumbest BS calls I’ve witnessed. Not because of the severity of the call, but how it so blatantly contradicted video evidence. We’ve seen incompletions be ruled catches, of course… but for the CC to call down for -that- and get it ludicrously wrong… it’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so Toronto biased.

O'Shea is very unlikely to agree to a trade, but it would be in the best interest of the team and even Collaros.

That is the nature of the business side of pro sports. Sentimentality buggers things up.

The 8th Canadian starter has that covered

Who needs draft picks? I hear there is not one outstanding ST prospect in next year's draft pool.

Collaros on the block....lol.....with a coach who keeps less talented guys around ....just because ....We could make a deal that would really benefit the club long term.... but don't hold your breath....We have a strong stable of qb's without Zack BUT unless Osh has sort of enlightenment and is prepared go in another direction....no chance

It would be beyond stupid to trade ZC this year. He has basically stated this is his last year. Guys like Milt stating it just confirms it. It would weaken us at QB, and it would risk our dressing room chemistry. Just a dumb idea by fans who dont understand the over all impact it would have.
