For all the hype Elgersma has received and people basically making him 3rd string already, I’m not sure he’s on the active roster. He might be 1 gamed for a bit. He’s not rourke and he hasn’t played a truly competitive game since school. There’s gonna be some rust I’d imagine and some learning curve. I hope the kid shows up and shows out but I think he’s being overhyped lol. Canadian trained QBs just don’t work out normally. Personally I like that thorn kid who called up Kent Austin to talk cfl then came up here and signed. I personally don’t care if a qb is Canadian or not, we already sell out every game, it’s not like he’s gonna draw in more people.
