JuranBoldenRules Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I think you can pretty much count on the Bombers starting 3 American OL with Elsbury being a strong contender to win the centre job too....possibly 4. They have 13 American OL signed for 2026. Bigblue204, BBlink, HardCoreBlue and 3 others 3 3
TBURGESS Posted 55 minutes ago Report Posted 55 minutes ago It was a very good day. Happily surprised that Ceresna signed here. Noeller, wbbfan, HardCoreBlue and 2 others 3 1 1

Bigblue204 Posted 39 minutes ago Report Posted 39 minutes ago Bombers officially out on Schoen. Which is obvious. But hes got an agent and plans to play again once healthy....as per Taylor Allen on the Twitter machine wbbfan 1
Rex_Banner Posted 32 minutes ago Report Posted 32 minutes ago Really going to miss Schoen on the Bombers, it was a treat getting to watch him play when he was fully healthy. Always going to be a big what if. If he could have stayed healthy I think he could have turned into one of the greats. Dumb decisions to play him injured, and man the guy took a pounding after the catch on some less than stellar passes. HardCoreBlue, wbbfan and Jesse 2 1

I politely bring things up to remind those folks that the Blue are able to go out and sign free agents and that the last few years they really sat on their butts. At this point if we sign any one else of note it's pure gravy... it's an A+ off season already. I think it's more like for the last 5 seasons after the years of making a splash with Harris/Jefferson/Bighill in free agency, we've mostly been a wagon and just spent most of the payroll on retaining the guys we have. Although we've slowly lost 1-2 guys per year and are back to where we can afford to spend big again.

With wilson seemingly expired, and strevy toast, the back ups are ugly. As per cfl.ca free agent list , the remaning options would be: MBT Caleb Evans Shea Patterson Tyrie Adams Matt Shiltz Logan Bonner Chase Brice Jeremiah Masoli

We can spend big money on a 1 - 2 guys in FA each year and still have enough money to sign other quality free agents. This year we paid the highest amount for a RB and an olineman. We also paid big money for a receiver, a dlineman, another oline, etc.... It's not like Walters has to wait 5 seasons to save enough money to start spending again. At no point did we ever have a Rourke/Adams situation as they had in BC. wbbfan 1
