He’s a decent receiver but I feel like the receivers we rostered today fit perfectly in what Zach can do. Guys that can run routes and catch the intermediate balls. Wheatfall was an okay deep shot receiver but not a great middle of the field catcher, but now Wilson and Demski can both stretch the field and Sterns is a great at those shorter routes. I think the wild card is obviously Dillion Mitchell. By far his best game as a bomber. We need more of that if we’re going to go on a run. rebusrankin, K-Shack, BigBlueFanatic and 6 others 7 2

Brandon Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Sterns has been consistent despite people ragging on him. Not a great receiver but also a guy who hasn't dropped the easy ones thrown his way.

Sterns quickness and hands make him a good asset, Wheatfall, Wilson and Mitchell are all similar types of receivers so having Sterns in gives us a better mix. As far as Wheatfall vs Mitchell, Im torn but if healthy Wheatfall deserves the chance to be back in the lineup. Hate to see him lose his spot due to to that hit. Mitchell has shown some good hands but just not enough to displace Wheatfall Edited 1 hour ago by Pete
rebusrankin Posted 1 hour ago Author Report Posted 1 hour ago After a fast start, Wheatfall has 344 yards and 2tds in his last 11. Not sure he's a lineup lock.
JuranBoldenRules Posted 57 minutes ago Report Posted 57 minutes ago Agreed Wheatfall is borderline useless. If Mitchell is actually in shape and playing somewhat close to 100% he's a far more impactful player. Neither guy has appeared to develop much chemistry with Collaros.
