And then it's a come to camp but don't expect to win a spot pushing out a vet..or a less than adequate Canadian...but for hopefully a PR spot and never seeing the active roster...and if you do..get next to no reps to show anything and eventually get moved off roster quietly and never be seen again...for a slug...and sadly that's not just an over stated griping...it is reality here

We always fall in love with the wrong pr guys. Bridges, Houston, McKnight and a bunch of others. 
 Even Adam’s broke in as a starter now suffers for reps.  
 

@DTonOB would you mind sharing how many reps on D you had for Ayers and Person last game?

My count had person with 5..tho might have missed one...2 came late when game was a foregone conclusion

I only saw Ayers twice? And not as a linebacker...which in itself is stupid when u had 3 ends dressed

That would make sense. I had 3 when I stopped counting. 
 Yeah I saw Ayers again only on short yardage stuff. 
 Burned half the teams DIs on de, where we struggled massively yet again, to only use them for maybe 5-8 total D snaps. Sickening.

We just utterly waste our DA's...part and parcel of our crap rostering tho too

2 of our DA's get basically no defensive use...ST only...we playing one now out of position...one is kicking...

Your DA's should be getting a lot of use in rotation...and really be just as good as starters if you were smart about it

My gut says Jake played the most, vaughters second then wj, then Lawson then adams. I’d bet Adam’s Ayers and person combined played significantly less than any of the top 3 rep dl. 
 

Idk how he can constantly say they’re all starters and they all play, then 90% of the back ups only take a small handful at very best.

But hey atleast we don’t want for guys dressed to play teams! We have soo many guys who just play teams so starters don’t have to play much. But then we don’t rotate them and especially on D, leave them to be gassed by the 4th.

Don't think they mentioned it but too many is my official answer.  Adams looked like he got rolled up on at one point so maybe he was limited after that - not that I think it would have changed anything though.

 What happened to in game injury updates? Only happens occasionally for qb/wr/rb who are stars now it seems.

Person had 1 in the first quarter, 3 in the third. Two were lined up inside, two on the edge.

For the season (I cleaned up some errors from the last time I posted these):
Vaughters - 236
Jefferson - 223
Lawson - 167
Thomas - 167
Adams - 143
Kornelson - 39
Ayers - 16 
Person - 4

Jones and Kramdi's lunches are getting eaten....neither can play in space.....bit we just kep hammering away at that

Lawson finally caught up to Thomas's reps but of his 167 to date...thats about 167 too many....Kornalson as well shown zip....Put Schmeck back in and see what the difference is and if theuy both show nothing....get em off the roster...we dont need 2 redundant Canadian DT's who offer next to nothing and find one who does...or put a Canadian skilled position player....but thats a stretch too unless Kelly is ready...and even then I'd swap Kelly for Novack and Bailey for one of Korn/Thomas....Ideally both and get Cobb on roster 

Kelly has been one our best ST guys and can actually rep on defence...Noval can't...and would not be missed on teams....Cobb has experience as a receiver and returner and would offer as much as either Case or Sterns so may as well et him and allow us to get J.Jones on roster...Ideally we sit T.Jones a few games and thatgets us Woods on too when he ready.....and all the while we are bringing in Dline and Receiver guys to find either legit depth...or guys that can make who have now depth...win win

Standing pat and "checking the tape" is just code for we good....we have no clue...or we just plain stupid

Do you just blame O’Shea for everything and ignore the coordinators who definitely have a huge say in things and likely have a larger say in who is and isn’t playing than you think. Crazy theory. What if the problem is the coordinators aren’t very good? I mean younger gets a free ride but the D didn’t adjust the last 2 games at all. At what point is it not O’Shea and it’s the coordinator who is playing the obviously confusing to most scheme.

Well we've seen the same kinds of problems with multiple coordinators and the common denominator is osh... not sure why it's so hard for some people to accept that Mike O’Shea has flaws.

Who said he doesn’t have flaws but blaming him for everything seems ridiculous. I mean I’m pretty convinced he’s not calling D plays on game days or O plays. Someone brought up a scenario from the last game where we stuffed them then put out Jake and the 3 4 D the next play on 2nd and long. I doubt that’s O’Shea making that play call. That’s Younger. Bend but don’t break but this year they broken.
