yep, that’s his kid. Crazy isn’t it?

Not the most amazing arm talent, but boy he had a lot of success throwing on the roll out/scramble and he has run option packs successfully

I looked at flights to Montreal direct from Sydney. 1400 dollars. Did we lose a war?

I thought wow what a deal from Australia then realized that’s Nova Scotia. That’s crazy pricey.

That's because it's fairly last minute.  The same flight 3 weeks ago was under $600 (same as if you are looking to go a month from now).  Also doesn't help that the only option from there seems to be Air Canada so they can charge whatever without worrying about competition.

They really nail you now for notice less than 2 weeks. I flew business class, indirect winnipeg to north carolina and back this time last year on a weeks notice. almost 4k. 

For two months this year my company had a price limit on trips of 500 us total expense. I told the senior manager who told me that I couldn’t go any place out side of driving range then. 2 weeks out,  cheapest flights to toronto/montreal run 450. odd time might get one 350-400 but it’s rare. Bc is usually 650.

600 for a direct flight thats around 2.5 hours is still insane.

And there's near zero demand for the flight.  Surprised it exists honestly.

I was going to make a direct flight to Montreal from the old Netley airport...no one answered the phone...

Yes, i do expect that the GM job of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers would be a very coveted position. We are now the financial model franchise of this league, are thought of as a team committed to winning, and even though you might have to inherit a HC that can be remedied after a season if it doesn't work out.  There are a few current GMs who would not bat an eye at inheriting MOS. Despite the opinions expressed here on this fan site, he is very well respected around this league.

You & I don't agree on much but I agree with this. I get the feeling at this point in his life, Kyle Walters would be very happy taking an AD job with a U Sport university in Southern Ontario. 

Kyle hasn’t said a word. Not the one since the draft really. That was it. I think he’s got one foot out the door.

If he has an opportunity to take a gm job in ontario, or maybe run a good osu team, I think he will take it. 

According to some, and the way he conducted our re-signings and fa this year, some definitely ready to buy him a ticket

I mean it’s pretty telling when the gm says nothing all year. That’s not normal at all. Even last year he spoke once or twice during the season.
