I hope it's nice. I'm getting a nice treat that game. Was nominated for coach of the week. My club (Rods) get $500 donation and I'm getting a $100 GC to the Bomber store and get to go on the field for

Have no issues with us bringing in Houston. I was the first to say I was ok letting him go to Calgary for the big money contract. With our injury issues I’m more than ok letting him fight for a job. He’s a good player.

Except for his tendency to go for the flashy play instead of making the tackle or knockdown.

He takes some chances. I don’t mind him fighting for a job we need some help in the secondary with the injuries. He has a lot to prove fighting for a job so you hope best case scenario he comes in hungry and plays smart, worst case scenario he doesn’t cut it and he’s off the roster. Low risk move in my opinion.

he could possibly be a good player, if he reigned in his gambling he’d have a chance. If he hasn’t gotten past the reckless play he’s gonna be another bridges.

The league has seen plenty of db injuries, and no one else has brought him in.

I like Dandy coming back. he was one of the guys that should’ve stuck in camp.

Sucks that cooley is gone, but we can barely make use of brady, and peterson has shown he has legit talent. wouldn’t mind if cooley is back in camp if he doesn’t get picked up.

Im glad we’ve made moves, i wish we brought in more wrs though. that’s a bigger hole than db.

Sooo many holes...

Good move on Houston.... we have no problem, as it seems the altercation with his wife wasn't what had actually transpired...His penchant for 'show boating' which raised the ire of a few, is overcome by his talent as a pretty good db...something this club is in dire need of....Too bad we couldn't keep Cooley....someone will pick him up...Like the Petersen kid though....he has the tools and has a good future in the league.....Hopefully he sticks around

Houston has exerience in league....knows the players and the standard sets in the CFL and has familiarity with basically most our defense so if anything thats a plus

Has he evolved his game and is more cerebral about his approach and picks a better time to gamble?....we shall see.....I really don't recal his CGY performance tho....did he reign it in a bit there?

Dandy I also agree...why he was let go is beyond me....other than the typical Osh tendency to keep hold overs even if not the best choice....and brings a lil more physicality too which is needed

Imagine if from game 1 we had dressed Person....Allen...say a Dandy, had Schmeck from game one as opposed to the what in the hell Korn rostering...Even J.Jones tho he still gets limited reps....how much further along we could be on defenc with cohesion and guys getting reps/experience

As long as the team keeps making steps in the right direction... Keeps getting healthier... Keeps bringing in guys who can play.... I'm happy. Fix the OL and give Collaros more time, and I think he (and the whole O) starts looking better...

Exactly. Zach put up his best #'s when our Oline was dominant.

I much prefer schoen to Lawler but that's me. Lawler can be amazing, but some games he wasn't amazing.

We can debate schoen coming off the injury and whether he was ready or not but I'd have picked schoen over Lawler too.

Same here.

And with hindsight, maybe we just weren't using Lawler to his full potential.  Felt like with us we'd just toss up a couple 50 yard jump balls to him and he'd make a couple highlight catches.  Hamilton is just using him as a stud in all situations and its working.

When he walks into his first practice this week will Osh exclaim “Houston we have a problem”?😉

Your recievers aren't the problem.  The QB play has been lacking this year.

I don't think so. No CFL qb would play well with the receiverss we have now.

How do you propose we "fix the OL" mid season? This should have been addressed in the off season by Walters. Then we have Osh always starting Kolo. Nothing ever gets done.

Except for the last 2 3 weeks now. Kenny has some huge games then goes very quiet for long stretches. Seems to be his career honestly. Stretch of ridiculous games followed by stretch of invisibility followed by injury shortly. Unfortunately Kenny not worth the 300k and still isn’t. Actually honestly. He’s been over 100 yards twice in 10 games this year. His high being 207 week 5 and second highest 162 week 2. since week 5 has not gone over 100 yards receiving. I was surprised to see this. Dude really does put up a monster game or 2 followed by lots of average. Does he make us better? Probably. But probably by not as much as some might think.

Walters did draft Vibert - a centre. Hopefully they use him at some point.

In my opinion, that is still to be determined. There were plenty of good catches last week, as well taking hellacious hits to make plays

Ottawa might not have the best secondary, but they do play with aggression

The offensive line ran out of steam in the 4th qtr. team are using 8-9 dl ,no wonder they were in tough in qtr 4.

Ly we had 2 backups Eli and wallace now  its just Eli and hes getting manhandled  We need to roster one more.

I can’t see how the O line could run out of steam with how many 2 and outs we have.  They should be well rested.

YEAH of any of our oline guys he is the last one being manhandled

I believe he is still making an impact as teams need to key in on him. This has allowed White (10th in receiving) and Smith (12th) to contribute as well.

We use Schmekel in the heavy set OL package without the 7th OL on the Roster. Then we also have MCI, and a bunch of tweener size guys to pick from. We don't need more size / extra Ol on the roster. And eli wasn't getting manhandled lol. Eli and Schmekel played really well in their heavy set pack.

At this point, we are drastically better off dressing Schmekel, than Vibert.

I have dumped on Schmekel but he was great last game. Thus I withdraw my previous comments.

yup.....same..maybe the demotion behind Korn lit a fire...If he can contribute like that game in and game out then he deserves to be on...He works great in the short yardage both sides of the ball so has purpose there beyond any extra reps he gets on defensive rotation...Thomas does not and is probably our slowest and least impactful guy off the snap....so why even bother
