crunch of the game woodbey had a beauty of a hit on a wrapped up wr fighting for yards. Secondary all rallied and hit a lot. 

block of the game on one of cooleys runs Wallace flattened his man and went cruising for more. 
 

honourable mentions Vaval, Avery, Gowan, Jaylen smith with 3 teams tackles, the whole Dl especially pointer Bailey person adams and Zack Davis.

I really like the DL talent we brought in - could see Jamal Woods sent packing, wouldn’t even necessarily be surprised to see Vaughters sent packing.  Hope we can keep Webb and Person, although I’m not optimistic.

LB is gonna be a tough topic of debate here unless we make the right decision and cut Kyrie Wilson. 
 

DB I don’t know what way they’ll go but we can’t really go wrong. Jamal Parker could be a cut here. So could Bridges.

Wheatfall and Cooley on O. Corcoran quietly making catches also. Adams person Bailey pointor all real good. J jones and Woodbey were solid. DB wide Former WCW luchador El dandy was good. So was Gowan. The rifles kid is gonna be a good one also. The DL. Already better than Jake schmek and Korn. 
 

Hopefully some vet cuts are made cuz I think on the DL especially, there’s some talent there.

We brought in some really good dl. I love the ends with the size to play some 3 tech as well. Bailey and person are the only ends under 250, and most of the ends we brought in are 260+. 
 

If we see kyrie or vaughters cut its a very good sign imo.

First training camp in a while where a bunch of guys stood out. Except maybe at receiver.

M. Mitchell is a total nothing burger. Cooley needs to not only stay, but play.

Dead weight on D has to be cut to make room for some of those ballers. These are the kind of players you see Toronto uncover every year.

If Cooley was Canadian it’s an absolute no brainer. Hopefully they find an area they can stick a Canadian to keep Cooley. Really like his running style. Haven’t seen back to back pre season games where we actually looked like a polished football team in a very long time. Excited for the season!

I think basically impossible with all our Canadian DBs injured at the moment.

Otherwise that’s where you could make it work.  Have all your backup DBs be Canadian.

No doubt they're going to have to cut some excellent players on both sides of the ball that don't deserve to be cut and maybe a few vets to continue moving forward in the direction they have to go to remain competitive with other teams now and in the future.  There should be a number of surprises.

HH to Zach.  2/2 for 80 yards and a TD.  Spent less than a minute of clock time on the field, leaving lots of reps for T Wilson. Veteran preseason gunslinger flex.

We cannot ....CAN NOT part ways with Cooley...The best looking prospect of any newbie in quite awhile....The guy does everything well...running ability fantastic....catches the ball and blocks down field...top notch....So how do we keep him???? Another club will pick this guy up in a flash ....We have to find a way....As for our new D guys up front..we definitely have a big improvement over last year ...Like this Person kid and Bailey looks like a good one...Wheatfall is making noises as the go  to guy ....Mitchell who.....Al in all the braintrust is going to have to make some tough choices...I hope they make the right ones

They're probably going to lose him either way, if they put him on the PR and another team claims him, he would have to say "no thanks", or the Bombers would have to roster him to protect him, which just isn't possible.  If Logan and Peterson hadn't arrived at the same time, they would be more pressed to keep him.

More accurately they have a Canadian taking 90% of the reps at the spot.  So it’s never going to be efficient to slot an American who isn’t a returner for the other 10%.  Especially when we’re a little light on healthy Canadians at the moment.

perhaps this was the plan with Logan. Cooley doesn’t return but with Logan out week 2? There’s prob a way. But again. He’s not getting many reps at RB so as good as he was im not sure it makes sense since he doesn’t return kicks. Perhaps you pr him, hope he sticks and get him learning kick and punt returns.

Man..this is the yr to let some vets go...this is the most legit talent ready to play now we brought to camp in yrs...and to let some walk for aged..average at best...and some not even worthy now would be a shame and just set us back another yr in transitioning and maintaining a strong core

And Person is insaey strong...20 reps of 225 is no small feet at his size and speed

They're still running Demski between the tackles, so that's held over from Lapo and Buck. 

But I don't think we've seen the full mojo of the playbook yet.
