Bombers at Ticats lead up talk

I expect a much more difficult go than Edmonton, Bo playing some damn good ball. Tons on the line for both teams, potential West clinching game (with a Sask loss), should be a damn good one.

Hamiltons pass game has been maybe the best in the league. Their D however, has been the dead last in terms of total points, offensive points, tds, first downs and second worst in passing tds. While also giving up the second most passing and rushing first downs, 2nd worst 2nd conversion rate, a qbr against of almost 100, while being neck and neck with us in pretty much all run stopping categories.
We are +7 on turnovers compared to Hamilton, +7 in big plays, while they have a slight edge in pass pro and pass rushing.

If any secondary or D can slow down Hamilton, it’s us. And their D weaknesses line up very well with our strengths. I don’t think they can slow us down or shoot it out with us unless we play down to them.
I don’t think we will put a 50 burger up again, but I think the play on the field with be pretty one sided in our favour.

Indoor GC this year...could very well change that...

It’ll make it easier for the teams in the gc to pass more, but that doesn’t help them to get to the gc.
Montreal has been much more pass heavy this year, and they will walk into the east final with ease. But I bet they run it 20 times in that game. And I don’t think any other pass only offence will sniff a division final.

Willy needs help, nobody has stepped up to replace Jeffcoat who was a handful to contend with on every play, the pass rush has become a secondary function.

Garbutt has had the occasional flash... but nothing near the consistency of Jeffcoat... I agree that's it's nice our secondary can play well without a pass rush... but it bothers me to think how good the D could be if we had consistent pressure on the QB

Garbutt is ok but they need someone who can rip under a tackle and disrupt the pocket.  We basically play basketball defense with our front, try to disrupt passing lanes but never get after the QB off the snap.

BLM looked really good against BC. Gotta get after him, make him cry.

Agreed. If Bo-Levi gets enough time, he will pick apart even the Bomber defensive backfield. Flushing him out of the pocket would be a very good thing.

Didn’t you say this about MBT and pretty much every other QB we have played. Gets old.

Nah. The first meeting of the year he went 14/28 220 yards and we didn’t pressure him then. It was close because that was maybe Zachs worst game of the year, and his last bad game.
Milanovich will know he’s gonna have time, and both he and bo have film against us this year which gives them an advantage in prep.
But at the end of the day, not running the ball plays into the hands of our D more than us not pressuring the pocket plays into Hamilton offence.

Also, if we swap haba for fox and rotate the dl we probably see the best pressure front of the year.

That was also the first game the ticats had with ******* Jones at DC right. Maybe had an impact.

Jones does tend to have a quick impact on D like that as a dc, yeah. Big advantage for them and they used it well.

I’m a younger guy and for the life of me I don’t get ppl who wake up and choose anger or negativity over positivity and happiness.

Don't let little things like that bother you. I let big things bother me, like we didn't win a game in Regina in my 20s. That bothers me

It doesn't bother me that ******* Dinwiddie could've ran for the first down instead of throwing it to James Johnson.

Or if turners were automatically reviewed then it would not of counted.

I do feel this game has potential kinda let down vibes. I mean coming off of a game where you put up 55 and you could have put up 70, and after clinching a playoff spot but bombers know how to win these late season games. Ticats tho have more to play for. Still sense a W but doubt we see 55 points or even close.

I think 33 to 20 type of game. Close but only cuz cats score a garbage time TD

Bo will throw for his 300 yards but a couple costly picks will be the cats downfall. Look for Bonds to make a statement this week.

Finally, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers can clinch first place in the West Division for the fourth straight year with a win over Hamilton if the Roughriders lose to Edmonton. The team can still make some headway with a loss this week as it’ll clinch a home playoff game if either Saskatchewan or B.C. lose their respective games. So says 3 down nation.

maybe we put up 56 this week.

well it doesn't bother me like keeps me up at night... I just imagine how dominant the D could be with a legit pass rush

Shitty that Demski is dinged up... Hopefully nothing too serious.

A dominant pass rush AND our secondary? Oh my.

If Demski can’t go I think they should move Clercius inside and bump Lucky out to wideout.

It would be neat to see how that defense performs when they aren't spotted a 28 point lead but I wouldn't complain if we don't find out like last week.

do you mean like every game this season other than last week?
