we need to go defence heavy...front 7...and not plugs who only translate to a few yrs of decent ST play

A flyer on an Oline guy who may take 2 yrs to get here, and a guy who has no NFL interest whatsoever....I also dont look at certain players with no upside coming into the pro atmosphere, as thats something you can't assume...Much the same as guys who appear to be ready to roll and fizzle away a yr and half later...

After round 1...maybe 2...after seeing some of the dust settling I would like to see us swing a trade as well if in our case remaining picks are just picks for the sake of having picks and dont fill a need for us

An attempt to match the glitz and hype of the NFL draft with a production that is cable access level, what's not to love?

That’s a damn good way to put it.

In general while I enjoy drafts a bunch of sports I follow, the lay out and time seems like a dinosaur. I feel like a really good podcast style setting with portions that involve each team and their picks in a fast paced format would reach todays target demo for sports a lot better.

If we take 2 guys on the front 6 in our first 3-4 picks along with 1 ol I think we will be in great shape.

Friggin Timbits soccer is starting tonight!!! I'm coaching so I HAVE to go....so says the wife. 🙄

I remember doing that. What a great time. Pure entertainment.

Make sure you get that parent who just wants to sit and look at their phone to help.  :-)

I offer a texting service with live draft updates. Only $5 per pick.

My draft wish list for our top 4 picks  are De Luke brubacher, dt Daniel okpoko, a top 9 ol, and wr Kevens clercius.

We’ve got 3 picks in the top 20, brubacher would have to be our top pick unless his nfl tc invite really cools his stock off, then some one would have to fall and we’d need to get real lucky to scoop one of those guys probably clercius at 28. An nfl bound ol like Hergel would be the dream.

The global draft similarly has a bunch of higher end nfl bound prospects. A good punter, one of the dl and another lber would be great.

It is fun, this will be my 3rd and likely final year. I'm also coaching flag football for my son's team and I absolutely love doing that.

I don't believe him...  hot girl asks him to go out and he says "maybe later" and then he kindly suggests that they go out as a group.      Bulllllllllll S............

I don't believe any professional person would nuke their career prospects by making false allegations. After making allegations such as this her career prospects certainly took a hit as she will likely be labelled to much of a hot button to hire. If this was a simple case of contract not renewed she probably has a quality job in no time. However, make the allegation and employers will be hard to find. Therefore, I doubt she is lying completely about it.

This never gets old. On a related note, did you know that the Saskatchewan Roughriders only had 4 rogues last year?

and how many "no yards" calls?

Guess what Kelly is saying is that she experienced it differently than he did.

... and based on what came out in April, it sounds like she's got the "reciepts"  (witnesses, timelines, reporting) where his doesn't come off as genuine.

That worked for another guy I know...

Coaching is a ton of fun... I'm coaching U13 girls softball starting tonight... really looking forward to the season kicking off.  I did flag football a number of years back, but I was in a bit over my head with that one... still fun though.

850pm start for the Jets means we should get through the 1st round by the time the game is on. Never know with tsn and the draft

I don't know why the hell the draft doesn't start at 7 eastern.  The people who want to watch it will find it.  It's not the kind of thing people are randomly going to stop on.

The TSN coverage of the CFL Draft is embarrassing. Just the first two rounds then the rest on the TSN website. Sorry, I have better things to do. They treat their Number 1 Sports holding (CFL) like it's as important as watching poker.

On the Rod Pederson Show last week, Jim Barker went after Nathan Rourke for his comments about the Commissioner & the way the CFL has handled the Kelly fiasco. He was genuinely angry that Rourke said what he did. He said Rourke signing with New England was a mistake & he's likely fourth on the depth chart now after the draft & free agent qb signings. He called Rourke's situation "Karma" for his criticism of Randy Ambrosie.

I like Jim Barker a lot but was disappointed he was being so petty. I agree with Rourke & a lot of fans do as well. It would have been better to have refused to give na opinion or just say he disagreed & that's it. Unfortunately, it made Barker look bad. I think those with the Argos & the CFL probably think the same.
