Too soon?  Too many truly painful Grey Cup losses have taken the sting out of yesterday's loss already.

Time to look forward while we cope with the recent disappointment.  

Who do we keep?  Who do we let go?  Who do we go after?

People discount elite returners until you don’t have one. They aren’t that easy to find. 

Our return game was non existent when he was injured. I for one appreciate him tremendously haha!

It is a lot easier to score points and control field position when you are starting drives around midfield.

That’s wrong. He started all his games as a junior and sophomore ar Maine at right guard. And he played at 4 different spots in texas as they had a rash of injuries and inconsistency at ol. But you also swore he was up weight when he very clearly dropped from his college time.

It won't be that exact situation, as he was in the building with Walters a week or two ago - but I do think it's done and just hasn't been announced.

Didn’t swear he was up from his college weight, said he looked slow as the extra guy on the edge for the CFL.

He has an extensive film reel from his junior year at Maine on YouTube.  And he’s only playing RT in Maine.

You probably read the article about his transfer to Texas State where they talked about his versatility to play anywhere, but if you again check the film reel, he’s only in at RG.

Dobson is very athletic for a'big' man....He sure looked physically capable when he dunked that basketball and tracked down an opposition db on a pick at their goal line....This guy fits the description 'manimal' and glad he's on our roster

Yeah Dobson is pretty athletic for a big bohemath..decieving to tell with big guys moving around...they seem plodding when they actually aren't....and yeah forgot about his defensive tackle last yr....thing of beauty for a big man

There was also that one goal line plunge where he totally bulldozed 2 defenders ,forget against who that was.

Yeah...by mid yr once he got his feet under him he was a machine on short yardage...and took no liberties with anyone and played right through to whistle ..and opposing defenses u could see didn't like it...same way that Eli did it...man our short yardage and goaline packages are gonna be a thing of beauty...Gray too...plays hard and to the whistle...and u can see he aggravated the hell out of defenses...Or online this yr is gonna be just flat out beasts...can't wait to witness it

Yeah Eli was a nasty road grader type too. The ol is going to straight up bully people next season and I love it.

We have some nasty mother truckers on our oline and I mean that in the past possible way.

Still love that Sask game a few yrs back where the online just ran over the Sask defence and the one play where Neuf took his guy right out to the sidelines and u could hear him call the Sask ayer a pussssy

I guess this signing puts an end to the "Desjarlais watch", even if he came back to the CFL Walters probably wouldn't want to sign him for the price he would be asking, as the need factor is now non-existent.

The thought oof Desjarlais,  Eli and dobson as the interior is just.... wow.

Props to the gm and scouting staff. They made o-line a priority and put together some very impressive depth.

yeah...over last few yrs we have lost Goosen...Chungh...Desjarlais...and even Eli last yr...and havn't missed a beat...impressive to say the least...even with Couture out the whole yr basically as well

Couture may not be lost yet. You never know. The Ken Lawler situation is heating up. Sounds like 3 or 4 teams want to take a run at him with free agency so it looks like some dumbass GM will pay him in excess of $300 grand again when it's a fact paying big money to receivers doesn't win championships. 

I'm not worried about our interior - although I do think we're down from our peak in 2021.

But I am a little concerned about replacing the tackles when the time comes. No matter who you get, they ain't gonna be what Stanley and Hardrick are for us.
