As we get prepped for mini-camp opening next Wednesday, here's Our Man Tait with his annual "Positional Preview" series, starting with "The Specialists":

Does anyone know whether TC will be at IGF or on the practice field again?

I swear I read something recently that it'll be on the field next to the stadium. Not sure why.... Soccer?

Hard to disagree with ed about the d ends ... .I wonder why willie j, didnt get to play in the nfl.

He called it immaturity in his younger days that got him tossed from The League and by the time he'd got his head on straight he was too old for what they were looking for. Simply put, we are EXTREMELY fortunate to have a player that is "too good" for this league... (similar to Mike Sellers in more ways than one I believe)

CBA doesn't expire until Saturday, and technically the newbies aren't covered by it because they haven't made a team yet......so mini camp should be going ahead as scheduled tomorrow! Sunday's "Main Camp" opening is somewhat in jeopardy (except not really because they'll get this worked out...)

phillip hunt played in 2010... time flys.

Just a bit of a tweener size wise would be my guess. A little bit underweight for DE in the show, and a little bit too big for rush LBer.

Willie easily fits in the NFL but when you’re buddies with Josh Gordon and you don’t have the undisputed, undeniable talent that JG has, the NFL looks to the guys with as much talent who aren’t going to give you behavioural issues.

I think Willie had the talent to make it as a tight end in the NFL but his college attitude problems were just too much to ignore at the time.
