They don't have a stadium to host it.  They won't get one until the Big O gets renos for the 2026 World Cup.

Probably too soon to speculate, but getting busted at a border in a rented vehicle with 160lbs of weed in it is a bad day.

They could easily have been unwitting mules if it was a rented vehicle. Smart way to smuggle stuff if you use rental cars that people drop off in another city.

Pretty serious stuff for them.Their life as they knew it is over. They have the potential to spend a good chunk of their life in that massive penal system to the south of us.

Oh I agree completely. I have a ton of compassion for Hefney and the circumstances of his incarceration. This, as you say, is on a whole different level.

Reports claim the weed was found in duffle bags in the back of their vehicle that was sniffed out by a dog at the border crossing. No attempt to hide the weed or cover up the smell. Nothing. Just brazenly in the open. The mind boggles at how in the world these gentlemen thought they were just going to drive across the border into the U.S. like that. Were they just that stupid? Sure looks that way.
