So if I’ve got this straight Zaius was at the bar, saw a guy that looked like Chris Matthews, kept asking him why he was a healthy scratch... buddy kept saying I’m not Chris Matthews

eventualy dude punches Zaius at which point he screams ‘you’re finished in this town, Matthews’

Even if we're assuming this is true, i'm not sure I instantly cut a guy for getting into a fight without knowing the full story. IF he full out assaulted someone sure, but if he was just defending himself absolutely not. 

A few years back Deiter had a bruised face and the story was "bar fight" and "you should see the other guy . Ha ha ."  not going to miss a game with a couple bruises.  

 

He’s on the practice field...

Matthews is at practice. And participating. That news must so huge and unbelievable the coaches are having a hard time processing it...at least that's what I heard.
