Riders @ RedBlacks

IPUgh, little frustrating to already be on bye at only week 2, but here we go.

It will be Fajardo starting tonight they say, albeit if Dickenson has subscribed to his old boss Chris Jones's way of doing things, Harker will be on the field if he doesn't get enough consistency going.

Hard to say who's got the bigger test of fire in this one.

For SSK, question could be whether or not they're better or worse off not having Collaros run the offense given some of his dwindling level of play.  Gonna have a better idea of what their current backups look like tonight.

For Ottawa, well yes they did what they had to do last week to get the win, but can't help but feel they got a lot of luck from CGY beating themselves as well.  Gonna have a bigger challenge against the SSK defense tonight for sure.

Gonna be a revealer of which team is who we thought they were

I think we're all missing the point, the Saskatchewan RoughRiders are 0-2 on the season and in last place.

  • One more of these posts ... and it will have been said more times then the Riders will have wins.....

  • really is best case scenario, now the Riders think Fajardo is a quarterback and will waste more time with him.

Ottawa beat Calgary....I have a hard time believing they'll lose to Sask. RBs clean up the TOs and they take this one in a relative walk...

After watching the CGY D last week and the way that OTT line pushed them around. Their Running attack is the only reason they survived last week. I see this game coming down to who can run the ball better, and I'm giving the edge to SSK just due to Micah being out there. Hope I'm wrong, but I just can't bet on Davis after throwing 4 picks.

My gut tells me Sask wins a close game. No reason why. Just a feeling lol.

I bet it comes down to coaching and the RBs have the edge.

I have zero confidence in Dom Davis...  this will be battle of the kickers

I'm calling Ottawa by 2 points based on some rookie coaching decision by Dickenson

Davis better perform, as Black's man crushes, can be pretty fickle, week to week........

unless your name is Giguere, Samuel....

I thought this game was in Sask so pick the Riders.

His biggest crush was a hamburger last week....  Do we know if this game has any jumbo dogs for Forde to eat?

6 games without a passing td is a mindblowing stat. I mean we've had QB groups like Brohm/Hall/Goltz  and McDougall/Vargas and not done that.

Yeah .. when it came to our quarterback situation, we went through the wilderness for a very long while and *still* didn't manage to "accomplish" that feat.

Bravo Riders for doing what should be near impossible in the modern CFL :)

I would love to see Forde or Rod Black eat a suicide beef roti from Tropikis on Ellice Avenue, live on air. I would pay to watch that.

I have Ottawa. Both teams are fairly similar as far as strengths/weaknesses.  But Ottawa sadly has better quarterbacking.  I could see it going the other way.  Calgary's defense wet the bed. I don't see that happening with Sask.

Next week, sushi.

I wonder if that's a stat that counts?

If the RBs can isolate a receiver on Edem that shouldn't be a problem.

Unless that receiver is Ryan quit route Lankford

Yup even more than just the kickers, if I'm a special teamer tonight, it's my time to shine.

I'm hoping Dom Dominates tonight...... still no tv out here in the woods though..... radioing it ol' Skool again...

Forget the game, what is Forde eating this week? Did he and Benny go for lunch today? Does Forde's stomach have a twitter account?

Ever wonder what the view is from the Rideau Condo Complex next to TD Place?

Might break the record for number of punts in one game here

There's Saskatchewan game plan. Throw deep balls and pray for defensive pass interference

Anyone surprised the Riders didn't challenge on that Ottawa TD? That was definitely offensive pass interference.

Aggressive hand fighting... borderline offensive PI in my opinion
