Foketi has officially become a "pretend player", after quietly practising not to play for two years, he's now perfected his transparency through complete absence.

I find it curious that they mention Foketi.....it would seem he at least remains in their plans....

Yeah, I get the feeling that he is likely dealing with some personal situation. Being absent this long, without the team releasing him likely means it's something serious. Hopefully him and his family are ok.

I prefer the term "stealth player"

Although it can get a bit hazy here in the Ether, I can confirm that there is no one here by the name of Foketi. I will keep my eyes open though.

Guess we'll get to see what Spooner has to offer.... Saxelid at RT will be interesting

I think we will easily dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

something bombers have lacked.till now.

cant wait to see him in game action.

There’s the difference between a confident QB (Nichols) and a somewhat worried QB (Collaros) and where their heads are at..

Sounds like we're going to see a lot of Bennett and McGuire

Thought it was interesting that watching Nichols interview here https://www.bluebombers.com/2019/05/30/matt-nichols-may-30/

you can see evidence of what looks like Chinese cupping therapy on his throwing shoulder - maybe even needle cupping: https://www.webmd.com/balance/guide/cupping-therapy#1

I can see why QBs would do that - there's a lot of unnaturally violent repetitive rotation of that shoulder joint and surrounding tissue. So if you can help speedy recovery, why not?

But were there two girls involved?

Invaluable. Preseason or not. These reps are so important for Streveler.

Yep. And not terribly with Nichols. With the high probability of a very small amount of time for Bryant, and no Hardrick its better to keep him out of this game.

I would expect something like a half + 1 series for Streveler, 1 and a half quarters for Bennett and McGuire the mop-up at the end. Those reps are extremely valuable to both Bennett, Streveler, and the depth Wrs. Mcguire doesn't have much of a shot of making the team IMO. With Nichols not playing this game, I would expect him to take more than half of next week. I don't see any way he takes less than that. The reps in live fire action with the new Wrs and OL starters are far too important.

It would be interesting though, if they gave Streveler a quarter, the first series of the 2nd half, and mixed him in heavily in the option package throughout the rest of the game with Bennett.

More, most likely :)
