The Rematch: Toronto back here Friday

What is Marc Trestman to do? He can't stand pat or it will be worse than the last game ...

Does he study the Wpg- Hanny game film ... come up with his own version of double tight end formations?

Can he fire up Wilder and make him the primary on 20+ plays? Or does he find a special passing package.

Can he blitz us to death?

Does he bring in QB Bethel Thompson if Franklin doesn't get it done in the first quarter?

It seems on straight smash mouth football we win ... so what is Trestman going to scheme to beat us?

We are not good   at half-time adjustments so how good are we at between game adjustments?

There is a reason back to back sweeps are really difficult ... so what should MOS's strategy be for this upcoming Toronto game?

I just get this feeling that we're going to throttle the Argos. I missed the game last week but judging by the highlights, we should be able to duplicate last week or do even better.

Pretty damn good considering we've played 1 extra game then most other teams!

Definitely, and one has to wonder how many of those sacks were against the rookie Streveler and how many have been against Nichols. I would bet at least five or six of those sacks have been on Streveler.

Wow.  The argos look to have lost some key players this week while we may be getting some back.

Should be a blow out. but i'm not counting on it.

Didn't their backup RB run better against us anyway?

Game plan, let Harris run them over, have Nichols complete short to medium passes, score early and often, and have Medlock chip in with a couple, really shouldn't be close

Wilder was -1  and Burke had 19 yards on 3 carries.... one of the being a 12 yard gain in garbage time.

I would assume the run game was abandoned because of the early deficit...  hopefully we can jump on a quick lead again.

even if that was the case, I'd 100% rather face their #2 back than Wilder. Plus Wilder was active catching the ball as well last week.

We are home, we are playing a team, where we have a big edge in personnel, in a lot of areas.....

Which is my long winded way of saying......no excuses accepted.

classic trap game

We have alternated losses and wins so far so yup

Jackson is no slouch as an RB...

Expect a close one - but Bombers have to keep it together and win by 2-3 points this time - another collapse would be worrisome

Ha, the whole page is negative predicting a trap game - then I say we'll win by 2-3 points and you slink out from under the bridge.  Same old. Same old.

Wilder is listed as the starter on their depth chart.

I have high hopes for Thompkins. He cannot be less productive than Bowman.

Bombers could have put 11 players out on O all game and sat Bowman against Toronto and been just as productive.

There was a bit on Thompkins on 1290 radio yesterday- he sounds like a blue-chip prospect ready and eager to get onto the field. Still, I wouldn't guarantee that O'Shea will not put Lankford in.

Nah....if Matt is gonna get the team to another 12-6 record then it is time to start winning consecutive games.  So this is a good time to start.

Bauming -

Nichols says receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is “a dude” and possesses the tools and skill set to be the next big time receiver in the CFL. You don’t often hear things like that — says a lot about what might’ve gone into the decision to move on from Bowman. #Bombers

A dude and a blue chipper.... Not bad.

Bombers ought to have been able to find an upgrade to Bowman working at the nearest 7-11.
