Eskis @ Bombers: Playoffs Are Here / Raise Expectations

It's finally here, postseason has arrived and the path to Ottawa starts now.  We got the Eskidolts at home and a game that may be our most challenging of the postseason unless the stamps resurge in a big hurry, or the Redblacks run the table out east and get to play in the GC in front of their home crowd.

The biggest watch I'm looking at?  Nichols and D Adams must return to action and Clarence Denmark come alive in this game.  We need the offense to come alive because Richie Hall is a dead weight failure.  If we can get our passing game going, maybe Harris and Flanders can get things going underneath.

But this game is a must win.  One and done is 100℅ unacceptable and someone will be fired if that happens.  Citizens of Winnipeg, it is your civic duty to be in IGF at 3 PM Sunday.

Big x-factor for us I'd say is going to be WRs stepping up big and making plays.  Good news is at least noodle arm LeFevour won't be throwing them the ball.

Do we care?

Well Mr. Sewell, do you plan to cover him in open space?

Let Edmonton talk about how great they are, let the media talk about how great Edmonton is, I hope the Esks to a man believe that they're just the flat out better team. Let em get nice and fat and sassy and when Winnipeg shows up with the work boots on they can put them in their place.

I call it a bit doodoo that a team would say that about an opponent they lost to twice.  Guess Maas must be becoming more unhinged than was originally thought.

I worry that there will be alot of empty seats at the game. If you look on Ticketmaster theres still on ton of seats available.

Oh yeah it's looking pretty sparse.  But Saturday should be good for sales.

if 26,500 actually show up, that'll be a loud crowd.....if they get anything near 30k, that'll look phenomenal on TV......c'mon, Winnipeg, get 'er done!!

The weather will play a big factor on attendance...I, for one couldn't care less about the weather!!  I'll be there with my 2 daughters!  Now Reilley just needs to eat turf half a dozen times or so.

Thanks!!

To be completely honest, I'm actually a Rider fan..but have lived in Brandon for a while now and the Bombers have become my second team.  There's just no way I'm missing a playoff game, that's sure to be a very good game.

Now I just need to go find some bomber gear so I don't look like a crazy person at the game! lol

I took a look on Monday at how many they sold and then last night and it’s really filling up. 30,000 should be do able.

This is great news.  50 more hours ... I am so ready for football.
