I like the idea of what a 2nd Westerman would do for our D_line for years to come. Getting Venerable could mean a road to the Grey Cup so I would break the bank with whatever we have left and spend it on those two.

so Westerman/Nevis/?/Okpalaugo so far.   If we could get Jabar in there that would be great, but if what true blue said was correct that $ is an issue,  can thoms or corney play  defensive tackle?

If we could find a way to convince LaFrance and the other Westerman to join the Blue, there really wouldn't be a lot left to accomplish in FA.  Support staff for special teams.

That makes the decision to release Lochard a bit puzzling to me.  I thought he did his job quite adequately last year.

Maybe the price tag on LaFrance has gone far beyond what the Bombers anticipated.

There are people on these forums who know factually that the Bombers are at least exploring the idea of LaFrance.
