I do remember tho when i was young and stupid and back in my younger days, i would have thoroughly enjoyed what they are doing right now.
 
Way i see it? I don't plan on  getting tickets in that section so really... why should i actually care or be bothered about something that has zero effect on me. 
 
I mean really, unless this directly effects you and you plan on sitting in that section, who honestly cares.
 
But guess what, by announcing it, if you don't like it, now you know to not buy tickets in those sections. 

As someone who doesn't care about the beer snake or section S one way or another, I find it extremely nitpicky to be upset that they happened to announce a change in policy.  How are people supposed to know otherwise?  Seems like the introduction of a "student" section is something that people would have to know about for it to actually work.

Think that to take the next step.....
 
1.  MOS is going to have to be somewhat more assertive, in terms of what he wants. (sort of team, style and schemes of play) This year looked like the classic rookie coach deferring too much to the veteran coordinators.....who at times, frankly appeared to not have a clue ..... 
 
2.  This clinging to (playing time for) useless articles, vets or not (eg. Romby, Kuale) through misplaced loyalty, or whatever.....has to stop.
 
 
Bottom line:  We need to make some coaching changes, anyways. 
 
Marcel is the definition of "mediocre" and once again, the league has figured out Etch.  We lost 7 games by 7 points or less, mostly because his funky schemes, couldn't prevent other teams from jamming up our asses, in crunch-time.   We played it safe with coaching hires, this past off season (recycling the ole boy club) and need to be more proactive, this off season......

Can we get to 9 wins next year and challenge for a playoff spot? I think so.

And that's what it's all about - Progress. Whether the absent minded want to believe it or not, we made great strides this year considering where we were at this time last year. No reason to believe we won't do the same again next season.

Haha - I guess that's deserved - gotta start somewhere though.  Actually I used to post a lot at Ourbombers (Buzz4QB) - but got tired of trolls and negatrons so stepped away for a while.  This site seems a lot more like Ourbombers used to be originally... I'm usually content to just lurk but I'm a Miller fan and don't really want to see people start making this into a WWE 'heel vs. hero' match.  Guess I'll go back to lurk mode!

The only thing I'll say regarding the post about it being an old boys club, Miller came in and got rid of some of them "old boys". Not really sure those posts really make sense.
 
Unless people are referring to the BOD, but the BOD has removed a few older guys and added a few new younger guys and gals for that matter.
 
Thinks are a changing, for years and years people referred to us as a gong show, Bell might have been a nice guy, Bannon too, Others also but... Times, they are a changing.
 
I'm fine with whatever decision Miller makes. He knows what he is doing regardless of some pretty obvious personal shots a few posters have taken against him. People talk about Ameet Pall kicking Iso's dog on the other thread, Well apparently Miller has done the same to a few on here too.

Wade Miller is an extremely intelligent, successful & shrewd businessman.  We've seen the results of his hard work so far on the field, now we're seeing more of it off, as well.  He knows what he's doing.

We just have to get the name "Randle Island" out there.  Once the media gets a whiff of it Rod Black will think it's clever and use it over and over.  And over and over.  Then he'll beat it to death.  Then he'll exhume the corpse and parade it around with sparklers and pinwheels.
 
Then he'll spend 3 quarters of a game talking about Nic Moore's tattoos.
 
Then he'll marvel at Paris Cotton's name for 3 weeks.  Cause one is a city, and the other is a ... substance?, and yet they are combined to represent A HUMAN!!!  THE CFL HAS HAD SOME GREAT NAMES!!!

I don't get why some want to "hate" on johnson, what did the guy do really? In the NFL, he was a showman, had some fun, woopedidoo.. yeah a couple off field issues but man what football player doesn't have off field issues, the guy doesn't need to play up here, he's loaded, has all the money in the world, is playing for the love of the game.. and regardless is good publicity for the league... say what you want but the als signing johnson is probably the biggest PR move in the history of the CFL, you got a name player people in the states know and are well aware of, it could be worse, its not like he's killed a guy or anything like that... hugging a ref? yeah i thought he should have been flagged too or fined, just cuz you can't touch the refs really but... declining an interview? who cares.

There is a trust among them to allow each to do his job.It would keep me on the payrole.Money isn't everything.I use to make 2 to 3 times what I do in Alberta but I love my work enviroment so here I stay.

Just a comment on the Bombers overpaying or as it was put paying full sticker price.I think there is definitely an issue with this team needing to succeed. Ticket sales could be an issue so perhaps Walters has been told if you want to go for someone don't **** around, get him! It may not be the time to play hardball.

So what happens when an OC with a lay back style of defence works for an aggressive Head Coach?I am kind of thinking that would be a good part of the discussion in the interviews. We don't have a wishy , washy coach any more.I like the fact they are taking the time to find the right mix.
