do or die got a reaction from BomberFan in Bombers interested in Romby Bryant?
First of all, Kelly or no Kelly .......at the time, Bryant simply wanted to leave, and by his lack of hustle and effort, on the field......eventually got what he wanted.
Now, my tolerence level for that kind of stuff.....was and is, precisely 0. Between that, the twitter loudmouths, the hot doggers and the other players who lacked professionalism....gin consumption was at a all-time high
That said, a certain amount of moons, have passed, since then....and bottom line - the only thing that interests me, now in the long view, under our new management......is the ongoing effort to beat every bush, look under every haystack, dig into every nook and cranny, kick every tire, stick any toe in the water, look for any port in the storm....and do whatever the hell needs to be done, however....to just make this a better football team. Long term and short term. If Bryant can (and prove it to the staff) provide us with some short term depth.....well ok then...
Of course Romby better not make any waves, outside of his bathtub.....because I for one, still remember......

do or die got a reaction from rebusrankin in Pre season done .... thoughts
Like:
Willy looks to be a serious upgrade on what we had last year at QB.
Some national upgrades now and soon, for OL
Using more of the field, with better play selection on offense.
Actual halftime adjustments during games.
Team not folding up, when falling behind in games
Kicking game
Progress of some young national receivers
Secondary
No Like:
Run Defense
LB's, excepting Wild
Kick coverage
Still can't make clutch plays to close out games
Razor-thin national depth
Blocking against edge rush, on OL

do or die got a reaction from B-F-F-C in Bombers release 4 more...
Well, you can effectively avoid taking the rap for draft busts ....if you simply trade away your top draft picks, every year......

do or die got a reaction from robynjt in QB - Could Hall get cut?
Cutting Hall outright at this point....is just a bad idea.

do or die got a reaction from IC Khari in Bombers release Cauchy Muamba
Yeah, guy was a young Canuck and all but.....he simply looked terrible - took real bad angles and as a tackler, the defensive equivalent of Brock Ralph.

Not going to dump on the guy.....merely ecstatic, at his departure.......
-
do or die got a reaction from TBURGESS in Winnipeg trades Kito to BC for Korey Banks
Would of loved to get Banks here, say....3 years ago.
That said......if ever a team was crying out for some attitude and veteran leadership....it's this one. Banks is the kind of guy who can be the de facto assistant (for a rookie HC)....in the room.
As far as Poblah.....look like Tarzan, play like Jane. Tracking the ball, in the air and catching it....ongoing problems. If Wally can't turn on the light bulb, Kito's next gig.... will be working out of a cubicle, somewhere.....

do or die got a reaction from iso_55 in Marcel Bellefeuille named Bombers OC
Bombers took the "play safe" route here.....experience and continuity, over pursuing "excellence"... like say, trying to find the next great OC.
Oh well....
At least MB has a clean slate this year (no trace of Crow) We will see.
As far as the Goltz banishment....my money was on it being Burke's idea... in a typical attempt to deflect the heat.... from his own shortcomings.
